Congrats on the grandchild. My birthday is the 18th, a week before Christmas. Growing up I always got a cheapie gift for my birthday because "Christmas is next week". My son's birthday is the 28th. My wife and I always make sure his birthday is just as special as someone's birthday that's not around Christmas. Again, congrats on the grandchild.

My order is at the sorting center about 40 minutes from my house. Tracking says it will be delivered on Friday.

Of course they are on strike. I have been waiting for a Hot Wheels pre-order to ship since mid July. It was supposed to ship on the 15th of this month, the same day the strike started. It's coming from somewhere within Canada. The order is supposed to be a part of my son's Christmas. Oh well.

I don't know if it's the worst racing movie ever made, but it's right up the with the worst. A high banked Phoenix Raceway from the in-car view? I have no idea who the technical advisor was on that movie, but they failed miserably. I still find it to be an entertaining movie, though.

Createx has a new reducer that allows you to mix your paint and bottle it for later use. Reducer 4021. It also has leveling properties. Though I've only used Createx colors on spoons, I am impressed with it's usability.

I have used the following with great service provided: General hobby shop and aftermarket parts - Scalehobbyist, Spotlight Hobbies, Model Roundup, Mega Hobby, Hobby Nut Models, Burbank's House of Hobbies, Ted's Modeling Marketplace. Paint - Splash Paints, Scale Finishes, MCW Paints Decals - IndyCals, Pattos Place These are the places that I have used the most.
