Very nice model Eric. I have not bought this kit yet but I plan too in the near future. By the way, I feel your pain with respect to stripe decals on some of these cars. I have yet to master it. When they go on straight and true, I jump for joy. Then the next one goes on and I cry in pain as it wrinkles, folds, or lays at some funky angle.

Thanks for those nice words Bob. It is interesting how I agree with you that from the photos the eyes look fine...but when I view the eye sockets as the model sits here on my desk, it seems that a slightly larger eye would fill the back of the socket just a bit better.

Well here is another sighting of the Ghost! Fun little kit to do in between other builds. First time for me doing any subject other than automobiles. Besides the paint, only other change was that I added glass doll eyes. These were 8mm..I think 10mm would have been a bit better.

Nice build...my dad had a 172 and flew it almost every weekend. I can still remember as a 10 year old boy he taught me how to keep the wings level as we flew around Southern California. Back then we were able to land and take off at LAX. Long time ago. Your build brings back memories. Is there a model of a 172 with wheels and wheel covers?
