Jarkko....both are super nice. They both look really cool. I have one I hope to get to this year. If mine turns out even half as nice as yours I will be very pleased with myself. Thanks for showing these.

She is beautiful Ian...color is awesome.

Always a joy watching your builds Dann...thanks for sharing these with us.

I have this same kit but have not started it yet. I have always liked the 928 and will be following your build which I have to say is very nice thus far. I have only been modeling now for a year and I find that masking is my least favorite aspect and one that I am terrible at. How long did it take you to mask the car for painting the black trim?

Joe, I think it looks terrific! Really well done.

VW Pick-up MOONEYES

I really like what you did on this model. It is fantastic. The detailing you did was nicely thought out. I have this kit and I am trying to decide what to do with it. May I ask, how did you lower it? That is precisely the stance I had in mind for mine. -

Excellent build Joe...just really love all the perfect detail touches you added. -
Like John said...these are inspiring! Beautiful build, plus I like the idea you had of the matching 1/64...

What Are Considered The Best 1:24 Diecast in the Market?
Slimguy replied to Slimguy's topic in Diecast Corner
Thanks Gramps and Snake...I appreciate your advice very much. I will do some internet searches on your suggestions and begin my quest. I agree Snake, investing was a poor choice of words. I do not expect to get anything more out of this beyond appreciating fine detailed scale models. -
I am considering investing in a few Diecast autos and want to keep it at 1:24 scale. What do those in the know consider to be the very best on the market? I am not looking for inexpensive per se...really interested in top quality, the best of the best? Thanks in advance for your comments and opinions.

Can't have too many pictures of this beauty. Agree, panel lines are very nice. I am a new builder, just one year into the hobby, and panel lines are on my list to learn this year. If I can do them half as well as you have I would be pleased with myself.

The detail on this build is very nice, especially enjoyed the engine compartment. Very nice work.

Trent...that looks amazing...well done

Great build it is gorgeous. I had a 62 hardtop with skirts that was almost that exact color. Loved that car. You have inspired me to purchase this kit and give it a go. -
Steve, this is a breathtaking model. Brings back memories of the car my Dad had. I remember him taking me to Little League practice in one that looked very similar. Love your work...you are one of my favorite builders on this site. Thanks for sharing all of your work and knowledge with us.

Beautiful build. The the color is spot on too.

I will be watching this Dann...love your work. Those seatbelts and seat latches look awesome by the way. I so appreciate all the small detail you put in your models.

454 SS pickup

Great build. The engine compartment detail is super nice. How did you get the fluid reservoir to look so real? Even up close in the photos it looks perfect.
