    I bought the convertible last week, and it's nice, light years better then the old vw beetle convertible

    It looks like when it went through the plating process it wasn't completely chromed, I have a 72 olds kit with a similar issue, I guess I have bad luck with chrome

    Is any one else's chrome messed up, mine has bad chrome, it's not an I issue since I'm using the rubber bumpers so it's not an issue

    Yes. Buying one for sure now, I hate building convertibles without uptops, seems like something is missing, plus they keep dust out of the interior

    Looks like revell finally got the cuda right, also does the upcoming 69 shelby convertible kit come with an uptop?

    The 77's should have different t tops then the 78, in 77 they where made by hurst, in 78 gm went in house for the t tops I really like this kit, it does show it's Diecast roots in places but all in all it's pretty good

    at Epcot Center in Disney World. They have Tamiya kits for sale in Japan. bought a 66 Beetle kit when I was there a few years ago.

    I got mine couple weeks ago, the body in my kit is no warped at all. This kit is a completely different tooling from the regular R8 kit that was released 3-4 years ago. that kit had a V8, this ones got the V10.

    it is an automatic transmission. wonder why Revell did the auto and not the manual.

    kit is out, bought it today at LHS along with the R8 Spyder. Steve Kinser Sprint car is also out.

    yesterdays Top Gear India special had an Airfix 1/32 scale MGB Roadster kit on it, There was another car kit beneath it, but I couldn't recognize it.
