  1. from what I understand Round 2 now owns all the old AMT/MPC/SMP and Polar Lights tools. but I'm assuming they will still be producing the kits in the old RC2 factories. sounds like Tomy has no interest in the plastic model car market. but i'm happy to see they sold the tools, and didn't destroy them. The big reason why Tomy bought RC2 is because they want to bring Tomica cars back into the USA. they also wanted Johnny Lightning and Thomas the Tank engine.
  2. its out, as well as the GMC wrecker kit.
  3. This kit has actually gotten kinda hard to find, would be awesome if AMT would reissue it.
  4. anyone see this kit yet? a couple websites show it as a late November release.
  5. Here's pics I took shortly after the kit came out last year, big improvement from Z06 kit, only issue, no carbon fiber decals,
  6. All your need is some 5.0 decals too turn into a 2011 or 2012 Mustang.
  7. I would expect it around Thanksgiving. i'm sure Revell would like to get new product out before black Friday.
  8. yes it will be, but its not the ecto 1, its the ecto 1a from the second movie.
  9. Revell VW Corrado AMT Subaru Brat AMT VW Rabbit AMT VW Scirroco
  10. paid $8.99 at the LHS for a can here. new label, but price stayed the same.
  11. Fujimi 04-05 Subaru WRX kit, 2dr interior. body proportions are bad in spots. luckily they started from scratch for there 06-07 kits and they are much much better.
  12. happy with all the manufacturers. highlights for me from Revell is the 57 Ford, Audi R8 Spyder. The Rat Roaster, and the GMC Pickup with Plow, from AMT its the 2011 Camaro's, the Myers Manx, and the 76 Gremlin. also happy too see all the Van reissue's from AMT. a little disappointed no 2012 Mustang Boss 302, or 2012 Camaro ZL1. I would've also liked to have seen Revell do something else with there 72 Cutlass tooling. I personally have no interest in the 50 Oldsmobile but I know other people do.
  13. It was confirmed on another board that AMT is doing both a 2012 Camaro Coupe and Convertible.
  14. Is AMT doing a 2011 Camaro as well. I noticed its up for pre-order on another website, due out in November.
  15. I like what I see, I'm digging the 57 Ford Custom, but I have no interest in the 50 Olds. really happy to see the R8 Spyder in a Revell USA box. The GMC Pickup with the plow looks like fun. I like the list but where's the 2012 Boss 302 and 2012 Camaro ZL-1? I do have on major beef though, we have absolutely no need for another Enzo kit. there's 3 out there already. (Tamiya, Fujimi, and Revell full detail). The car is aged. and is not as popular as it was 5-6 years ago. There's plenty of other Ferrari's out there that have not been kitted, like the 599 GTO, and the new FF. I don't understand the need for a snap Enzo kit. unless Ferrari really pushed Revell for it.
  16. looks like it was a great show. I would've went but I had to work today.
  17. Tamiya Primer and Putty, its finally back.
  18. looks great, nice too see those old AAM kits being built,
  19. Welly makes a 1:18 Ford Explorer of the same vintage, its as close as your gonna get.
  20. I can't wait for this one, I am a lot more interested in this one then the Moebius Hudson.
  21. Hobby Lobby is going to open here in Pittsburgh in September, I'm curious how its going to be, there's a Hobby Town less then a mile away from it.
  22. I haven't been able to find one of that casting that hasn't had some kind of a flaw in it. Matchbox also incorrectly calls it a 71 (its actually a 72).
  23. I havent warmed up to the Car Show yet, but I haven't watched the second episode, I really like Top Gear USA, nowhere near as good as the UK show but its getting better. The Alaska episode was great. and the reason why there using a lot of the same challenges is because the show is produced by a lot of the same people who do the UK show. Top Gear USA will get better,
  24. Here's the Hudson from LA Noire
