Picked up the rx7, straight reissue of the kit, includes all the racing parts, plus an excellent new decal sheet. Really happy too see this one back. Interesting thing is that this kit has pieces from all over the globe, tires and box made in Chine, decals from Italy, plastic parts molded and its all packaged in the USA.

I would much rather see the mpc Camaro then the AMT version, I believe the AMT version was last reissued as a Michaels exclusive, the MPC version was last seen as an annual in 1992 in an AMT box

Deffinently looking forward to the Suburban. Wish they would've shown an actual pic of the f100, curious on how that one will look in scale. Mostly excited for the RX7. Gonna be nice to have that one molded in white.

I just picked this kit up today, gonna be a quick project. There is a slight mold line on the D pillers same spot on both sides. really happy too see plastic seats, not the vinyl seats we saw in the 2010 Camaro kit. only issue I have is that the headlights are molded to the body. there is glass for the lenses. but all the headlight detail is molded to the body, It could be a PITA too paint, other then that it looks fantastic.

I could care less about the fake blowers, the crime against humanity are the LS motors.

A little disappointed the Nova will be molded in black, I'll still get one but I would've rather seen it molded in white The Cheverro is a must buy for me. I know it's a custom but It looks good, and the ugly rear spoiler is a superate part. Ill be getting one of the Datsun Monster trucks, but just for parts so I can restore an original stock MPC Datsun pickup.

Esthers Hobbys, been open since 1938. survived having 6 feet of water in it about 12 years ago. The area its in has been seeing a bit of a resurgence in the last decade. Bill and Walt's is still around but they moved outside of town. they only have 1 location now. The hobby shop in Cranberry is Hobby Express, they moved to a much, much better location up the road in a busy shopping center. This is my go too hobby shop.

Stopped today, nothing on clearance but they finally got some new stock in, the Revell 65 Foose Impala, and the Starsky and Hutch Torino. Used a Coupon and got another Torino for under $14.

Website back up, and even though they are closing up shop they have a new kit available. A 70 Mercury wagon

Avoid the MPC 69 Camaro and original Monogram 69 Camaro, both have major proportion issues for a 69 the Revell kit is the way too go, The AMT 68 kit is'nt bad, but if you want a 67-68 Camaro get the Revell version. The AMT 70 1/2 Camaro is also very good. But make sure it's the new one, not the version from he early 90's.

for those curious about how the lightning rod shifter works. click this link https://youtu.be/_nSGrfzJdd0 so it works kinda like an modern auto/stick style transmission. but its no substitute for a third pedal. you could not get a manual transmission in any G-Body after 1981.

Online sites say July. Due this month from MPC is the 75 Corvette, and the 79 Pinto. From AMT due is the 65 Grand Prix, and the Beetle Bus

Looks like the next issue of that kit will be the FE3-X.

Tower Hobbies got some more in. I put in an order for one My local Hobby Shop told me they got 6 in early this week and they where gone the same day. not expecting another order for a few weeks.

I got 2 of these kits. One the body is perfectly straight. The other is warped beyond repair. Moebius needs to make the boxes a little bit bigger. Other then that they look great. Panel lines are a little light But I'll rescribe them anyways so it's not a big deal.

I'm assuming the Datsun Monster truck cant be built anywhere near stock. Is the frame somewhat stock?

That one on EBay sold for $80. im guessing the buyer is not a model builder and is more interesting in the fact that it's an 83 Cutlass. You can get three of them elsewhere for that price
