  1. I get my info from Finalgear.com. and they get there info directly from the producer of the show
  2. actually last weeks was the last episode for the 14th season, (Hammond in the LFA, Clarkson in the BMW X6, and May in the Vauxhall Insignia VXR (Buick Regal GS as it will be known here stateside). season 15 won't start until June-July at the earliest.
  3. even for a NASCAR fan like me SPEED has been bad lately. horrible coverage of the ARCA series, and some Camping World truck races get tape delayed. VS has been showing Pro Cup races for the last couple years. coverage of Sprint Cup qualifying has been hit or miss. There's been talk of NASCAR developing there own network like the NFL and NHL have. Motor sports has become filler over at SPEED between episodes of "Wrecked" and "Pinks".......
  4. 07190 1964 Mustang Conv. 07176 Audi A4 DTM 2009 Timo Scheider 07177 Audi A4 DTM 2009 Tom Kristensen 07141 Ferrari 458 Italia 07533 Heavy Duty Trailer 07127 Mercedes C-Klasse DTM 2009 Gary Paffett 07128 Mercedes C-Klasse DTM 2009 Ralf Schumacher 07100 N.N. 24 11/2010 Neuheit 1989 Trabant 601S „20 Jahre Mauerfall“ 07401 Unimog U1300L „THW“ 00023 Austin Healey 100-Six (Revell Classics) 07189 Corvette ZR-1 07402 Kenworth K-900 Wrecker 07464 Peterbilt 353 07344 VW T3 „Westfalia Joker" finally a 458 Italia kit, and the DTM kits sound cool too,
  5. That was a great jump. I really liked it because my 1:1 is a 2008 Subaru Impreza, (minus about 200 horsepower compared to Travis's) looks like they underestimated the weight balance because it seemed like the drivers side of the car was a little heavy.
  6. IIRC there are 3 more episodes left in this series.....
  7. after last weeks major disappointment this weeks may have been the best Top Gear ever, the Bolivia special, Clarkson in an 80's Range Rover, Hammond in a Toyota Land Cruiser, and James May (or as Clarkson called him the entire episode...Ted Nugent) in an old Suzuki Samurai (don't know what they called them in South America). This episode was EPIC!!!!!. I watch them the same night they air here in the states by Torrents, you won't see it on the BBC USA for at least 3-4 months......
  8. Congrats Bob, you made it to Autoblog as well
  9. I'm looking foward to this week episode. the Bolivia Special. The gang drives through Bolivia in a Range Rover (has to be Clarksons choice), a Suzuki Sidekick (May's?) and an old Toyota FJ (after seeing pictures of it, it has to be Hammonds)
  10. I'm a big Top Gear fan and I will be sad too see it go. with that said this has been a very weak season, in fact the last episode was the worst episode of Top Gear I have ever seen. (Clarkson testing the new Noble was pretty good, but the art exhibit stuff was pretty boring.)
  11. got my Modelhaus 1992 Buick Roadmaster wagon kit, and a Revell snap 1992 Chevy Caprice kit that will be the donor kit for the Buick...
  12. I already got mine, a Modelhaus 1992 Buick RoadMaster wagon kit, it came in the mail yesterday....
  13. Daisy's Road Runner is a reissue of the MPC annual kit, They retooled the kit for the correct chassis and correct dash, There also giving us an all new correct decal sheet
  14. 1. LHS's (There's 4 of them) I can get a kit cheaper there than ordering online. (IE. I paid $26 for the new Revell VW Bus, online shipped will run me about $30-$35) 2. EBAY, for OOP and some resin stuff 3. online retailers, usually for parts and wheels I can't get from Hobby Shops...
  15. I'm building AMT's 1966 Olds 442 convertible. is Tamiya's XF-6 Copper close to the bronze they painted the engine in back than?
  16. where I live Pittsburgh Police has used FWD cars since the early 80's, they used H-body Pontiac Bonnevilles and Olds Delta 88's. They've been using FWD Impala's since they came out. I'm assuming there gonna keep the Impala and not switch to the Caprice.
  17. Best, by far, my current 2008 Subaru Impreza, The AWD is awesome. especially on steep hills. the AWD and the ABS work seamlessly together. my worst (by far), my old 2001 Ford Ranger I sold last year. if there was more than an inch of white stuff on the ground it wouldn't move. I would loose traction in the middle of summer on greasy roads. I will NEVER own another RWD as a daily driver. worst in my family, My sister had an AWD 2007 Pontiac Torrent that was one big P.O.S. even though it had AWD it sucked in bad weather, had transmission issue's from the day she pulled it off the lot. also had major electrical issues. and the interior was horrible on it. its the reason why I will never own a GM product in my life.
  18. I got Revell's new VW Samba Bus. and i'm awaiting a set of Aoshima wheels to come in the mail...
  19. first kit at the tender age of 5, Monograms snap 1:32 scale Bronco kit, the one molded in blue, I also remember building a lot of the Hot Wheels Snaps kits back then. My first glue kit was Revell's 1993 Corvette 40th anniversary convertible kit.
  20. I did'nt know that, I think a Prius kit would be great. I'd buy one to build
  21. an built-up MPC 76 Dodge Adventurer pickup, and today I got a Revell 1998 Saleen Mustang from Micheals on clearance for $11.99
  22. Fujimi's 04-05 WRX STi kit. its horrible, its got a two door interior. body is wrong, the Revell kit is MUCH better (even though the body is incorrect on that one too)
  23. I have to put the Tamiya Enzo up there as one of the best. The engineering in that kit is spectacular and it raised the pedestal for what future kits are modeled after.
