  1. here's a top 10 cars list I actually agree with, Autoblogs top 10 greatest pontiacs I think Pontiac truly died in the 90's, with the Aztec, the Sunfire. FWD Bonnevilles, and the Transport (later Montana). the later FWD Grand Prix where decent cars. the 04-06 GTO was awesome even though nobody bought it. The FWD Grand Am started out good but went too garbage the longer the car went along. The G8 is good, this one might hang around becouse Opel might take over Saturn's dealer network. it'll just be called the Opel VXR
  2. its a 90, it still has the old dash, in 91 the car (and the kit) got a new dash with a drivers side airbag.
  3. deffinently getting the 370Z (although it will be expensive since its from Tamiya), and i'll get the Fiat 500 since it looks like the 1:1 will be sold here in the states. I'll also get the Evo X if it has a Left hand drive dash, now someone really needs to do the 2008-09 WRX STi
  4. I got a Tamiya Nissan GTR, an AMT 70 Challenger and a Jimmy Fintstone resin SE body to go with it.
  5. I will not be there, first time I missed this show since 2003, Its not the economy thats holding me back but the failing health of a family member, I should be back next year
  6. I think officially its a sequal to the first one, since the original cast is back
  7. Any one see this flick yet, its gotten some decent reviews.
  8. I've gotten quite used too seeing GTR's, I see one pretty much every day, someone who lives near me has one. The Mustangs nice, but it still makes me laugh too think there more American made product in the this, The Honda Civic Then the Mustang, 10% more to be exact
  9. finally got Revell's 1957 150 today from the LHS, also got a MPC 79 Volare built up off Ebay that should be here this week
  10. notice the 62 Corvette is MIA, it was supposed too be die cast re released as plastic. the 32 5W looks great
  11. This must be a popular kit because I've had a lot of trouble getting one. I stopped at two hobby Shops and they where sold out, stopped by another Michaels and they had a location for them on the shelf, but they didn't have any in stock. so i'm just gonna order one online.
  12. I hope Revell can fix this issue. I know alot of people who are weekend builders will never know but I would like a correct 68 interior. to make me happy Revell needs too offer a correct interior for people who already bought the kit. I'll even pay for them if Revell can make it happen, as long as its under $10 including shipping.
  13. I stopped today with 40% coupon and walked away very disapointed. no 57 Black Widows, only clearence kit lest was the horrid AMT 06 Camaro concept. Nothing good left on shelves. I'll have too give the other Micheals in my area a try becouse this one was'nt good.
  14. looks like a fun project. I'll be looking for a project Subie next year or so. my 2008 Impreza will staying stock for the foreseeable future. I hope too find a 02-03 Impreza. wish I would have bought my dads old 99 legacy wagon. it was a 5sp so it would have made a EJ205 swap nice and easy, car was fairly rust free and all the interior needed was new carpet. because the moonroof used too leak. the car that got away and I should have bought it off of them
  15. I'm assuming Revell decided to make the kit more of a stock 150, then the black widow. I think more people want too build a 150 out of the kit then the BW so I don't think the BW's missing parts will be missed. I'm gonna hit the hobby shop later this week too get one for sure. it appears too be well worth the $22.99 MSRP
  16. The higher price of kits has been discussed over and over again. at my main LHS all the Revell kits are now $19.99, all of the AMT kits are $14.99, plus a 10% discount on all of them.
  17. Will you be offering those Cutlass's for sale online. I deffinently want 1-2 of them.
  18. according to Towers website it says late March. we should hopefully be seeing the 09 Challenger and the "Black Widow" 57 150 any day now. there both listed as late Feb. AMT's snap 08 Challenger are also due to be out.
  19. lets not forget the auto manufactures want more $$$$ from licensing. also more technology is going into producing these kits and they are better then ever. I paid $19 for the Revell 68 Mustang, and honestly, I don't think there all that expensive at all. I was in Micheals on Monday and there was a group of kids (ages 10-15 I guess) who where deciding what kits they wanted next. lets face it $20 for a model kit, is still cheaper then $60 for a video game. not including the $400 needed for just the system too play them. also kits aren't being sold in the amount they used too be. with no big box stores carrying kits anymore its make them harder and harder too sell. The reason why Model King kits where expensive was because of the small numbers that where being done. well. the kit manufactures are doing the same now so there will be an increase in price. I'm gonna continue buying, price increases aren't going too stop me from buying, it only makes me enjoy this hobby more becouse since i'm putting more money into the hobby it will force me to become a better modeler.
  20. I feel lucky. most of the local Hobby Shops in my area are doing good. the only that might close is because its in a bad area. my main hobby shop just moved into a bigger location, The local economy is doing pretty good since its based mostly on education and health care.
  21. used the coupon to get a Revell 66 GTO for $9. they had the new Revell Bullitt (68 and 08) kits for a whopping $24.99 each.
  22. I've seen the paint chips. it might just be easier and more correct to backdate the AMT 71 kit to a 70
