This must be a popular kit because I've had a lot of trouble getting one. I stopped at two hobby Shops and they where sold out, stopped by another Michaels and they had a location for them on the shelf, but they didn't have any in stock. so i'm just gonna order one online.

I hope Revell can fix this issue. I know alot of people who are weekend builders will never know but I would like a correct 68 interior. to make me happy Revell needs too offer a correct interior for people who already bought the kit. I'll even pay for them if Revell can make it happen, as long as its under $10 including shipping.

I stopped today with 40% coupon and walked away very disapointed. no 57 Black Widows, only clearence kit lest was the horrid AMT 06 Camaro concept. Nothing good left on shelves. I'll have too give the other Micheals in my area a try becouse this one was'nt good.

looks like a fun project. I'll be looking for a project Subie next year or so. my 2008 Impreza will staying stock for the foreseeable future. I hope too find a 02-03 Impreza. wish I would have bought my dads old 99 legacy wagon. it was a 5sp so it would have made a EJ205 swap nice and easy, car was fairly rust free and all the interior needed was new carpet. because the moonroof used too leak. the car that got away and I should have bought it off of them -

What shows are in this issue? -
I'm assuming Revell decided to make the kit more of a stock 150, then the black widow. I think more people want too build a 150 out of the kit then the BW so I don't think the BW's missing parts will be missed. I'm gonna hit the hobby shop later this week too get one for sure. it appears too be well worth the $22.99 MSRP

The higher price of kits has been discussed over and over again. at my main LHS all the Revell kits are now $19.99, all of the AMT kits are $14.99, plus a 10% discount on all of them.

EXCESSIVE PRICE INCREASES.

lets not forget the auto manufactures want more $$$$ from licensing. also more technology is going into producing these kits and they are better then ever. I paid $19 for the Revell 68 Mustang, and honestly, I don't think there all that expensive at all. I was in Micheals on Monday and there was a group of kids (ages 10-15 I guess) who where deciding what kits they wanted next. lets face it $20 for a model kit, is still cheaper then $60 for a video game. not including the $400 needed for just the system too play them. also kits aren't being sold in the amount they used too be. with no big box stores carrying kits anymore its make them harder and harder too sell. The reason why Model King kits where expensive was because of the small numbers that where being done. well. the kit manufactures are doing the same now so there will be an increase in price. I'm gonna continue buying, price increases aren't going too stop me from buying, it only makes me enjoy this hobby more becouse since i'm putting more money into the hobby it will force me to become a better modeler. -
Another one bites the dust...

I feel lucky. most of the local Hobby Shops in my area are doing good. the only that might close is because its in a bad area. my main hobby shop just moved into a bigger location, The local economy is doing pretty good since its based mostly on education and health care. -
used the coupon to get a Revell 66 GTO for $9. they had the new Revell Bullitt (68 and 08) kits for a whopping $24.99 each.

I've seen the paint chips. it might just be easier and more correct to backdate the AMT 71 kit to a 70

Panther Pink 71 Charger

a 57 handyman would be awesome

could you order a 1971 Duster in Moulin Rouge, I found a 71 Charger in Panther Pink thats factory correct. and 1 website I found said it could be special ordered but I have found no 71 Plymouth in Moulin Rouge

There are still alot of surprising cars out there with available manual transmission. did you know you can buy a regular Cadillac CTS with a 6sp. manual a Manual was a must when I bought my Subaru Impreza, and I had no issues finding one I liked. in fact I've never owned an automatic, my first car was a 95 Geo Prism, then an 01 Hyundai Accent, and then an 01 Ford Ranger. all sticks.
-
I guess I'm one of the few who won't buy anything but a manual.

2010 Taurus SHO It all sounds good. twin turbo V6, 365 hp. AWD, but why did they have too ruin it with a stupid fake manual/automatic transmissions. The reason why the SHO died was because they took away the manual transmission. now this one does'nt have one. would it kill the big three too produce a car with a proper 6sp manual Transmission with a clutch

Brookfield did a 93 Caravan/Voyager in promo form. The only difference I believe would be the dash. Tamiya makes an excellent 66 Bug, but i'm not sure what would be needed to convert it to a 73 and sadly no Mclaren F1 has been kitted. I wish there was one but no kit manufacturer ever produced one.
-
looks good, much better then the 70 Challenger Revell just released. I have too get me one, but if any Mustang experts can tell. that appears too be a 67 interior
-
The fact that James Harrison was held the entire game. and the fact that Arizona was getting some excellent spots, on there first touchdown run they had a couple generous spots that where gifts from the officials. The NFL is going to start adding chips too the balls too the balls so that they can get some accurate spots

its says on plastic-model.com that its due out now (late Jan). so i'm guessing we should see it any day now

looks like another excellent kit.
