  1. I got AMT/Model Kings 1971 Thunderbird, and a set of Hoppin Hydro's wire lowrider wheels. this one will be my first lowrider
  2. 2008-2010 Subaru WRX STI 1973 Chevy Laguna S3 Bugatti Veyron 2009-2010 BMW M3 Coupe 2007-current NASCAR C.O.T (Any make, preferably Toyota, or Ford) a new modern tool 1969 Chevy Chevelle (a possibility with the new Revell 72 Cutlass, they share the same chassis)
  3. Model Master makes a viynal roof paint that works better then anything else i've used. its a two part system and you do is spray it. don't have to worry about it "Lifted" up over time, you just need to remember to mask over everything that you don't want to look like a viynal top (Like window moldings)
  4. check Ebay, great place to get ref. pics
  5. I agree. Show rods have been historically bad selling kits, they may be popular where there first reissued, but after a while they begin to become dust collectors. look at the AMT Beverly Hillbillies kit. when it first was reissued 5-6 years ago for the first few weeks it was a big seller, but then after that it sat on Hobby shops shelves. I saw a bunch of them in a discount store a few years ago for $5.
  6. really looking froward to this one. I have plans for a few.
  7. spent $50 at at the LHS yesterday, bought a Fujimi MKIII Toyota Supra, AMT snap 74 Cuda, a can of Tamiya white primer, and a can of Tamiya Pearl White.
  8. I got this kit yesterday, its deffinently not for the faint of heart but its buildable. The biggist issue is the incorrect front window, but it appears to be fixable.
  9. I got Tamiya's fantastic all new Nissan 370Z kit, a little expensive, but a nice kit
  10. walked into Michaels today and found that they had a few kits on clearance. the Revell 41 Williys, Revell Acura RSX, and the Revell 1977 Monte Carlo snap, all where listed as $9.99. I got the 77 Monte Carlo snap for $6.41 with a %40 off coupon. I don't know if more will be added to the clearance but thats all my local Michaels had marked down.
  11. eh, I don't see a huge market for these. I think maybe the NHRA put up some money to have these done because I just don't see a big enough market for Revell to do these. and yet we are still without a ZR1, 2010 Camaro, and 2010 Mustang kits. ohh well
  12. I grew up in the 80's and the 90's, and when I was younger Michall Jacksons music played a big role in my life. yea, he was a wierdo in real life. but he was fantastic as a performer. I have alot of respect for Farrah, especially that she was'nt affraid to show what the cancer she had had done to here, I feel bad she passed on the same day as Micheal. but with that said I was too young to remember Farrah, but seeing those old Michael Jackson videos on MTV brings back memories of my youth
  13. looks great. you never see those built.
  14. a 68 Chevelle wagon would be great. especially if its based off AMT's 68 El Camino. since that kit already has the correct wheel base
  15. IIRC The Nissan Laurel was never sold in America.
  16. Revell (Monogram) reissued 1964 Mustang convertible, and AMT's 09 Challenger R/T. I also think i'm gonna preorder a few things through HLJ (Tamiya's new Nissan 370Z)
  17. The Revell kit has 2.5L non-STI motor. The EJ205 IIRC. early WRX's had the 2.0L turbo, but i'm fairly certain the Revell kit has the 2.5L. (which I believe come out in 2004) I'll have too take a look at the 2.5L in my 08 Impreza and compare it to the Revell kits engine to tell for sure.
  18. I knew Buicks where popular in china but wow. The car she wanted (and stealing) was a Buick Regal.
  19. I will preorder a few of the 72 Cutlass's for sure. just as long as Revell promises to include and uptop Like I said before that tooling could lead to an all new and much needed new tool 1969 Chevelle SS
  20. Eminems new Album "Relapse", i'm not really into rap anymore but i'm still a big Eminem Fan. also listening too Green Days new album "21st Century breakdown" I listen too pretty much everything. alot of country. alot of rock (all kinds, alternative, Grunge, heavy metal, hair bands). and some Pop. I got about 700 songs on my Itunes playlist and thats growing pretty much every day. NO!! Chicago though, I literally get a headache every time I hear any of that bands songs.
  21. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of modern subjects, but I'm looking forward to the 72 Cutlass and the 66 Impala. the 72 Cutlass should open the door to some future releases (a new tool 1969 Chevelle SS would be awesome)
  22. I've never had an issue with the gas cap. I always look becouse I drive so many vehicles I can never remember. The biggist issue I have right now it going from a 6sp manual in my dads 08 Civic SI. to the 5sp manual in my 08 Impreza. when I drive my dads car I forget to shift to 6th, or when I'm driving my car I almost put the car in reverse.
  23. Thats my plan if Revell ever releases it.
  24. its looks good, my only issue is that it looks like the front fascia is molded with the grill in it. that could make it a PITA to paint. I wish they did like AMT did with the seperate front grill. its looks good. very similar layout to the 06 Magnum, but since the Magnum and the Challenger share alot I suppose it should.
  25. Model Kings 79 Bronco, been wanting one but I did'nt want to pay big bucks for the Cougar drag car i'll never build, so I got just the Bronco off Ebay pretty cheap
