  1. 1969 Chevelle, Revel could easily retool the 72 Cutlass to this.
  2. honestly I think the lack of interest is because of the lack of places that still sell them. none at Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart. Toys R Us. . when I was younger (I was born in 1984) I got most of my kits at Hills and KB Toys. both long out of Business, in fact I used get Tamiya kits at KB Toys. you can stick a carburetor in front of me and I wouldn't know half the parts in it. every car I've worked on in my life has been fuel injected and with a modern computer. todays car are not hard to work on, they just require different tools. plus todays cars are a lot more reliable. they don't require the same amount of attention cars from the 60's and 70's require.
  3. The new Honda CRZ from Fujimi. another hybrid from Fujimi, but this car should be a lot more popular then the Prius. I like this car so i'll be getting one for sure and from Aoshima, The Mercedes SL65 AMG Black and one I cannot wait to get my hands on, Ive been waiting for some manufacturer to bring out a kit of this. Subaru Impreza WRX STI 5door :)
  4. MCM was hacked, not the first time, not the last time. happens to every website at some point.
  5. (PICTURE NOT OF ACTUAL CAR, BUT EXACTLY LIKE IT) 2008 Subaru Impreza. I only have little over 11,000 miles on it. 5sp. manual. (I've never owned an auto). I'm kinda torn on what to do right now. either put some money into this one (wheels, better stereo), or sell it and get a truck.
  6. but, thats not Fujimi's market. there market is modern japanese cars. and some Italian Super Cars. I will buy a Fujimi Prius kit. when they offer it with LHD. I prefer to build modern cars. and I have absolutely no interest in kits like the Double Dragster, and stuff like that.
  7. hope they put all the stock and custom parts in the box like they did with the 62 Pontiac.
  8. Aoshima's Mercedes Benz SL63 AMG Johan 73 AMC AMX Revell 69 Mustang
  9. here's some shots.... The Body Parts Layout, remember there are extra parts from the regular C6 kit notice they fixed the under hood area. the ZR1's battery is in the trunk. and Revell corrected that, which was incorrect in the Z06 kit, Chrome and the new Tires.
  10. Revell's new Corvette ZR1 kit is out. Its based on the regular Revell C6/Z06 kit with a lot of newly tooled parts. The body is new and very well done. very crisp details. some of the parts from the C6 kit is still in the box, like the exhaust and 2005 only steering wheel. i'm guessing its cheaper to keep those parts in rather then retooling it without it. The interior gets a nice update. with the correct steering. they also retooled the dash to have with the Navigation system. The engine block is the same from the C6 kit, but everything else is new. like the 4 piece super charger. then we come to the tires. which to my surprise are NOT the same ones from the other C6 kits, they appear to be completely new. the wheels are extremely well done. but the plating is a little heavy on them. stripping the chrome, and repainting with Alclad should really make them pop. they are a but small to my eye. but are still very well done. only issue I see is that Revell did'nt include any decals for the Carbon Fiber roof. not a huge issue since i'll use some SMS Carbon Fiber anyway. a+ from Revell with this one. its a winner.
  11. I got the ZR1 and the Dart today at one of my LHS. They also had the Duster drag racer but I didn't get, as I have no interest in it.
  12. This is what i'm leaning toward when I build mine.....
  13. Revell did a great job on the box art for the Samba bus.
  14. picked this one up today, I can't compare it to the original issue's of the SRT-10 Vipers because I don't have any. wheels look great, I didn't scale them but they appear to be the correct size. there on the chrome tree, so that will have to be removed. Decal sheets a bit of a disappointment as you can only do a red car. there's a lot of bare carbon fiber on the car so a few sheets of Scale Motorsports Carbon Fiber decals will be needed. Revell did a good job with this one.
  15. I was in Micheals today and noticed there's a lot of clearence. 09 Challenger, 68 Charger. 70 Challenger. 57 Bel-Air (the one just released) almost looks like Micheals is going to make there model selection smaller. there are some good buys. I bought the 70 Challenger for $10 bucks.
  16. The Ferrari California, 66 Mustang, and 69 Mustang are out now, I bought the 69 Mustang today at the LHS
  17. anyone here ever built this kit?, The LHS had it for the price of a current Revell kit so I decided to buy it. haven't had a chance to take a good look at the kit yet,
  18. Ford is expected to announce today at 3:00 P.M. the demise of Mercury.....
  19. I paid $53 for mine, including shipping,
  20. I'm kinda surprised that the Ferrari 458 from Revell AG is'nt on that list.
  21. I'm with Bob with the fact that Revell needs to bring out the 2010 Mustang as a 2011. I'm assuming there modifying the 2005-2009 Mustang tooling to a 2010. and with how much retooling needs to be done they might as well update the motor as well nice too see an update to the new 72 Cutlass. its got a flat hood as well as an up top. also looking forward to that 48 Ford custom, as well as the Mustang SVO. its a small list but its a healthy list, I'll take quality over quantity and day. good job Revell.
  22. I for one am happy too see that we are getting some modern Mercedes. I would really like too see the new CL kitted.
  23. guess where never getting the Charger Police car
