  1. Steve, I have been doing my research here on the forum and on youtube to figure out what airbrush to get. I was leaning towards the iwata hp-cs but after seeing that YOU use a PS-290, I went and ordered one last night.
  2. Nice build. I see what you mean about the tires. Your "parking lot" back drop is pretty cool too. Though most cars would tend to be parked facing the building.
  3. SWEET! The outdoor pic looks like a real 1:1. The interior carpet turned out very realistic.
  4. I am interested on how your methodology of vinyl works out.
  5. That is an excellent, excellent result. With the right background and photography most people would believe it is a 1:1. Very impressive. On a separate subject. What airbrush did you use for the body?
  6. Nice build. My mom had a couple of green pintos when I was a kid.
  7. Nice project. Following.
  8. I am a fan too. I haven't started a thread yet but I am turning a Johan 75 Promo into a 74 Hurst Olds. A lot of little mods are required.
  9. That really good. Nice interior. I finished a silver 67 Drag car late last year.
  10. That is a very stunning color in day light.
  11. Snake, yes, I am inspired by what you do. The results you get for the effort involved is very efficient. I have a couple of old builds that will get some Snake-Fu someday.
  12. That is SWEET!!!! I wish it was mine!
  13. The size of the decals make it an ambitious task for 1/25. Two suggestions. Add another coat of Testors 9200 decal bonder (AFTER you have done test on unused portions of the decal sheet). 2nd, add a drop of liquid dish soap to your lukewarm decal water. It will let you move them quite awhile for perfect alignment before they set.
  14. A working sliding door? I would have never imagined...
  15. I had one of these in grade school. My brother and I would play demolition derby with our glue bomb builts. My unpainted 56 won many battles because it was glued unpainted.
  16. Thank you Mike.? I spent this evening dealing with the base of the windshield not reaching the resin cowl.
  17. Very nice. I like all the little detail touches.
  18. Small victory this evening. I was not liking the big evaporator box on the firewall from the 70 Monte Carlo. I had a 69 Hurst Olds glue bomb sent my way. (Thanks Sam!) I spent this evening carving up the firewall from that to fit. Now my Pro Mod engine has a little more room to fit and it will look a little bit more authentic.
  19. That is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I would be happy to give it a good home when you grow weary of looking at it.
  20. Grand Prix YES! I have owned 5 real ones, 4 kits and 1 promo. I would definitely be in on a 69 to round out my group.
  21. Thank you for sharing. It turns out I have a 37 Ford kit that the glass is missing. I will never build it but it has some pretty nice parts in it. I just robbed the steering wheel.
  22. Way cool rides. Nicely replicated.
  23. Very nice result. I like your choice of blue. Way back in the 80's I made my own Eliminator from the DRAG KAT kit. I got the rear spoiler from a Mustang, fabbed a front spoiler from I believe a Corvette and scratch built the hood scoop from half of the suitcase from a 72 Grand Prix. Later I got decals from Keith Marks.
  24. Reading through the thread, I am going to consider myself lucky to have the 70 Olds 442 kit (with a resin twin scoop hood too).
  25. Nice 57. I have only had 1 cross my personal path. I was my BF dad's orange 210 with a white top and orange Corvette Rally wheels. He said the color made them look like Lifesavers candy.
