Thanks Claude, much appreciated. Ill see what I can do. The pics are great BTW, the car I'm doing is from the 70s so some things will be different I imagine.
The Duster looks amazing!Congrats on the win. I am working on a Camaro funny car and have a question. What did you use for the cable for the chute , and is it flexible. I would like to remove the body from the frame as you did but don't know what to use. Would you send close-ups of the chute so I can see how you connected the cable. Happy new year!
You guys are going to give me an inferiority complex! How do you build such nice stuff ,so fast. Nice work on them all. Especially the Merc. Happy new year!
Nice collection Snake! I particularly love the Henry the 8th Mustang. Reminds me of the song. Everybody...second verse , same as the first, I'm Henry the 8th I am........
I love them all , although I too love the El co. I also build more than cars and can appreciate all your builds. Wonderful detail on the Lunar landing.
I'm lovin' this build. I too like tv, movie etc subjects and this one is unique! Now if you'll excuse me ,I have a music video to watch.
Happy new year to you!
Firstly, that is a spectacular General Lee! love it! For me there is one thing missing though, are you going to add the grill guard?
On another note , sorry for your loss. R.I.P. Big dog.
Really...OCD.. no one here like that. LOL. Certainly not yours truly. Haha If you want my opinion, speaking from experience, I'd go with the foil, my first attempt turned out alright. I can shoot you a pic if you like.
One thing I have learned is that even the best of us make mistakes and have to fix or redo things. Your project looks great so far, I can understand being intimidated you take your time things should turn out O.K.
I'd like to chime in, I read in this thread the AMT Chevelles are not 1/25th scale, so does that mean that all the A bodies are not 1/25th? 442 ,GTO etc. Oh and Snake, did you finish that Beaumont? I'd like to see it!.
This is my 1971 Comet that I built almost 2 decades ago. The Velocity stacks are made from aluminum tubing and it has a racing harness that is so full of dust I didn't want to show it. This is kind of an experiment to see if I can lode something on the forum. I thought if it works you guys might like to see this old Testors kit built.
