  1. Very nice pair of pickup Robert! The weathering on both are very nicely done and convincing! I will have to try that technique on day or another... Well done sir!!!
  2. Very beatiful 70 Charger Scott! Good color choice, perfect stance and cleanly built, a real head turner! This new Revell kit seems very good and accurate! Well done sir!!!
  3. Very beautiful sofa for the car lovers! Rather rare base material however... in the real life I mean! Well done sir!!!
  4. Sleek car Gary! Nothing wrong with a single color paint job, especially when it's perfectly done like this... it fits like a glove... Well done sir!!!
  5. I am glad to see you back at the bench Lorne! All progress is good, even if it seems insignificant and testing the fit over and over again for the best possible results is the right way to go! That differential looks amazing, I love what your doing my friend!!!
  6. Madness and genius are very similar states of mind I would say, but I opt for the second explanation in your case my friend! There will be a dedicated table just for you at the next event and I can't fully understand that there are even more to come... I am embarrassed about my personal production... very embarrassed... Fun with styrene... It couldn't be more true! Your the man Claude!
  7. My God Claude... have you slept a few hours in recent months? I'm quite concerned about your health and want to see you in the flesh on your feet and not in intensive care... Farce aside, that's another well built model of your own and you continue to prove your good taste my friend! Hey! I don't see the green air valves on the tires by the way... There is a good chance they are hidden behind the fenders even if the rims are huge ?
  8. That's what I call heavy equipments... The resin parts seems to be of very good quality and your added details are very convincing so far. It is obvious that you know your profession Dan, it is very well done!
  9. Thanks for your kind comments Martin, I do appreciate them! Building model cars is very important as a hobby (the passion for cars) and as a good way to keep my brain healthy as I hope it will help to keep aging problems at bay. I always try to improve on what I've done on the projects built in the past and I often find a better way to create a particular piece right after making it, so that keeps the motivation going I would say... Speaking details, everything is based on pics found on internet and I try to reproduce these details as close as possible (I'm a detail freak I would say...). I do have hundreds of pics of different 1:1 cars and parts well organised on my computer for reference purpose. When I can find technical dimensions I also use them to recreate the parts to scale with the limitation of the tools I have. If I don't have what it takes, I order the necessary tools to make the part as close as possible to its actual dimensions. I still have a few older models that I will try to release when time permits. You are always welcome my friend and take care, Francis
  10. Thanks for the kind comments Robert! I have never built a scale model for the purpose of resale and frankly, I don't know what price I could ask for after probably spending over 1000 hours making it... A good amount of money or financial disaster... I imagine that would most likely be the second option! ? Take care, Francis
  11. Stunning, Fantastic, Crazy... It's totally out of my comfort zone but it's so beautiful and well crafted that I have to take the time to congratulate you on this incredible build! The weathering effect is second to none by the way! I LOVE it !!!
  12. Thanks for your kind comments Craig! Yes, it does require a little patience, but it makes things easier when you love what you do and are inspired by the subject! Glad you like it!!! Take care, Francis
  13. Superb build and very cool project Ronald! I always like when someone add details and functionalities on their build and make them better than the original kit. I don't know why but I have always loved bulldozers and you are on your way to a great build!!!
  14. Thanks for the kind words Scott! I'm not the fastest machinist so imagine parts 25 times bigger... a lifetime project... it would be better for you to stay with your local speed shop!!! Take care, Francis
  15. Very good, impresive and inspiring work Roger! You put a lot of elbow grease into it and it pays off. This is my favorite pickup era and this little Ford will be amazing (it already is ...) when finished! Keep doing your great work, I love it!!!
  16. Thanks Chris, I do appreciate! Take care, Francis
  17. Thanks Nigel, you can see more pictures in the WIP section. However, I forgot to take pictures of all stages of the build, it was a pretty quick build in my standards, I would say... Take care, Francis
  18. Very nice and clean build Craig! I always love the blue headlights on the Sox & Martin cars, it's very distinctive... and beautiful! Well done!!!
  19. Superb Nomad, I love the aggressive look of the Pro Mods. We don't see '56 often and this is one of my favorite body years. Well done sir!!!
  20. Very nice color and clean build Thomas! The Bare metal foil looks very well done too. Very beautiful pair of Dodge Charger that you can be proud of!
  21. Beautiful bodywork, good job opening the grille and superb choice of color! Your on the way to a very nice and interesting build sir!!!
  22. Very nice basic kit, the body lines are very well done and the proportions seem perfect. Another rare subject, I love it !!!
  23. Very cool construction Tom! It's a good (and plausible) way to recycle an old pickup truck and turn it into a homemade pickup truck. The trailer is also really well made and convincing. Good rescue for a good cause!!!
  24. You did a very good and realistic rust job on this pickup truck Jeremy! We had one of these old GMC truck behind the house and it was even more rusted than that but a real work horse. Well done sir!
