  1. Suggestions needed. I test fitted the non RS grill and I have a huge gap on top of the grill. Any special fixes for this?
  2. Nice to see one built! Are the headlights more rounded than the original? Some thing in that area looks different than usual to me.
  3. Looking good! Good work there to represent a Swedish work horse ?
  4. That looks really cool! Concept is coming along nicely!
  5. Thanks, yes his Camaro is a beast! He Have it for sale now though. thanks for the encouragement:-) I could not agree more about narrowing the track if I want it lower. I Will need to look for an other set of front tires since one is missing. Yes he did a custom front valance for it where he blended a ‘69 Camaro section. Some more info on it if you are interested: started from a quite rough point. https://www.garaget.org/?car=178525 https://www.garaget.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=148371
  6. thanks m8! Yes you are right on the color of the motor. As mentioned after your post ? thinking about gold with black or solid grey. A friends Camaro is inspirational:
  7. Thanks! Yes I believe so to! Yes you might be right! I had the stance set up for the other wheels but i think you are right! I have actualy lifted the rear suspension a bit from stock so it would have a bit of forward lean as I like them but I will tweek it I think. Color vise I am thinking of gold with black stripes or solid gray.. not sure.
  8. I started this project a wile ago. And have made som progress. I had decided on a Pro touring look with ‘19 BBS.. but did not wan to continue for some reason.. was surfing the net and just figured it needed mini lite wheels. Found some decent ones in Sweden but not staggered. Was also looking at scaleproduction which have a nice set but they are in Germany.. but it got me thinking. Found a set of RS watanabes on a Swedish site and thought that they would work. And then I remembered that I had a set in the PB. Problem is they are 4 Bolt and maybe to wide. The C5R Silverado won’t be using its corvette wheels so the wheel nuts will not be used. And thanks to my old stash I had an second set. So.. centrum bolt is the solution! I Made the front as you can se with the shaft going through and the nut retaining it. The rears had an different problem since the rims had a 3mm centrum bore in stead of the 2mm needed. So I put the corvette part in my dremel and turned it down in size and made it conical so it would fit. Problem is almost solved. Now I just need to remove the original screws and fil their holes and repeat on the other two wheels. I believe the wheels come from a AE86 from aoshima. I believe it looks decent for a test fit. But i will need to work on the fitment on both corners. They need to come inwards to the body some. Might need to alter the front backing plate/upright. first time trying these techniques. Worked ok but second set will be better ? The stock Z28 engine will see some minor upgrades I guess. comments and thoughts are most welcome!
