Sorry for bringing it back from the forgotten parts of the forum… but man you made such a good effort on this! Came out great and they are so good looking! It’s really sad that Revell some times make such lousy kits, imagine this being a Tamiya kit.. I would have one on the go al ready! At least I have a tourtorial how to make a c7r here!

Absolutely beautiful! Great work there both with the kit and the weathering! If the kit is anything like the C5R you must have been in for a fight. Great work and looks stunning!

Same here in Sweden I have a fairly local store 250km away with a good assortment of most materials and a good selection of kits but no “aftermarket” parts as wheels and such. Glad there is car-model-kit and an other Swedish store Virago supplying such aftermarket. You can be glad that you have Hiroboy at least in UK, best store before brexit, a BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH nice guy as well, remember meeting him in 2006 in his GT-R, got to know him through AF.

Yo could make the last gen 2 Camaro with l98 package(if i remember correctly) Police package. A friend of mine was taking care of such a camaro that never seen police duty, was optioned as a police car for an Employe at the factory.

Thanks dude! I also like them especially with the deep lip in the rear, and it pays the respect to the corvette since they also are BBS of the same era. Thinking if I should leave them chrome or paint the centers.. not Shute. The body will be gun metal Grey Tamiya TS 38 so it will be dark almost black.

Fixed the rear suspension that I screwed up when trying to lift it. Cut a spare box C5R member and slid it underneath the original placement also narrowed it little to clear the brakes and the altered offset on the wheels.

Trying to determine the ride height to fixate the rear suspension. The body actualy have to go down in the front, probably since I made the steering functional. Still have more than 5,5” ? of clearance in the rear and center. Almost a SUV… Front is of course lower due to the bumper design.

When the team converted the corvette to the truck body the wanted to keep the wing to create as much downforce as possible. So they cut 8” out of it and fixated the bed sides to it to make it as discreet as possible. The tailgate was cut to fit the wing. And With minor tweaking the original wing support supports the wing and the bed sides. And the team decided to move as much weight as possible rearward so the radiator will be moving back which will give more room for the intercoolers. ? Sorted the length on the difusor as well, still need to patch the top of it. O, and it won’t have a lid in the back.. now one will see in to it when it flys by in 200.
