  1. Thats cool! Understand the engine choise. How much power where the S20's making in fully build spec, have no info on those engines.
  2. Great progress!
  3. Epic! Looks great!! Whatsapp chassis is that? Is that a resin body?
  4. Looking good! I like those grills! Engine looks good!
  5. Came out great! Looks realy sharp! Good work.
  6. Looks perfect to me! The smal imperfections are quickly forgotten and the result looks stunning! Great work!
  7. Interesting thread. I tend to be interested in building cars that are not stock I can enjoy a stock looking car but it does not tickle me to build one. I like most cars as long as they have or can have that extra to interest me, aperance, stance and attitude I guess is what I look for. I love American Iron, some 50’s models but mostly 60-‘20s muscle cars. I also love European and Japanese cars with the same criteria’s. I think I have ideas on almost al my kits for mods, body changes and definitely wheels. I believe any engine can be cool but it needs that interesting part ? I am no big fan of super cars but would love to build a Paganini some time since they are so interesting in al their details! I have one “super car” in the stash even though that’s more of a GT car, the Aston Martin DB9, and for this one the plans are stock looking but some changes to suit my taste.. wheels for example I haven’t decided for.
  8. I learn so many tricks and techniques here al the time but I tried one today, instead of putty I used CA glue and sanded it to fill some gaps. Worked great!
  9. Made some more progress to night, cleaned and made a new system in my drawers for all my modeling stuff. After that I made some clearance for the headers that had no way to escape the tire nor any space in the transmission tunnel. Also boxed the frame as it should have been since it’s a hydro formed frame. Also made a plate to shield the exhaust heat from the cab. Need to Finnish of the cage next on the interior, along with the transmission tunnel.. and we will see if the nascar cage sides remains.. just to bad that I started with the nascar cage since so little remains al ready. #1 before the modifications #2 cutouts made and filler piece glued in. #3 frame boxed in. #4&5 after changes and test fit with the cage.
  10. Beautiful scratch building! That’s looking terrific! Great work, I will be following along and learn!
  11. Great engineering! Came out great! Do you have any WIP pictures? Would be fun to see ?
  12. The Tamiya Paint marker might be an option if you havent tried it, its Enamel paint XF-1. Its not super sharp but wil get the job done. Mine has dried out and last time i did lights i used a brush, tamiya paint and a light hand to put on the edges, worked ok as long as you have the thiner to clean up.
  13. Haha! We can always hope? But again it ain’t a inline turbo five we are talking here but a pickup with 7l 700hp V8 so I guess the consumption will be more than 5l/100km in 150mph? I looked it up now.. 4639 km it’s a fair bit of distance?
  14. I scratched up some fuel cells. How do most of you cut styrene sheets? I tend to put down my measurements with the “caliper” and then scribe it with a good blade. Does not always end up straight so i have to file it straight. Have no good saw but might have to get one.
  15. #19 Corvette.. humm.. Silverado C5R.. I made a start on the fuel cell increase to be able to run all the way cross country without a fuelstop! Or we can always hope ?A 170L increase in capacity will make the total capacity at at least 250L(66 gallons) so it might pass couple of states until refuel. Ride on!

  17. Started to drive in a 1995 Volvo 850 GLT manual on dirt roads when I was around 13 and kept learning in that car and kept it until I was 20 something. Had 2 different Volvo 240 B23 that I learnt how to drift on snow with and the Chevelle was my car that I had from 16.
  18. Sweet!! Really like this!! You probably mentioned it... but where did the wheels come from? That wheel style is so cool!
  19. Very nice build! These Nascar frames are cool looking! I will need to build one soon.. will try to make progress on my 74 Chevelle at some point.
  20. Welcome back to the hobby! Some pictures would be nice ?
  21. Great execution on that roof swap! Interior and wheels looks sharp as well! Will turn in to a real beauty when done!
  22. Those Flares with that tire combo definitely look Japanese! Will be cool! Will there be an RB swap or 2jz in there ?
