I'v got three cars right now.. My get to work car: Volvo V50 1.8F manual, Sumum. 2008. Company/Family car: 2019 Mitsubushi Outlander PHEV And my hobby car together with my father: 1990 K5 Blazer Diesel. -
Yea I do, but I like the ‘70 more. These will most likely be robed of their chassis and parts for other projects. ?

Got me these to play with. To bad that neither one of the kits have nice rims. The Chevelle ones are really ugly. The Revell at least can be modified to some thing decent.

Beautifull bild! I wouldn’t mind some more pictures of it, from low front quarter to show of that beauty! -

Good work there! Must be the best looking Impala of that year I have ever seen, and right sort of drive wheels as well! A competitor to chargers, 300C and CTS-V! -
Great work Ismo! Came out great!!

Nice build! Long time since I saw those kits! Good work on it!

A true beauty!

Thanks! Yes it’s quite ambitious.. I have thought if I would throw a bike in the back. But no rust, would have to be a “wrap” if so since in my mind the body is CF. Those will be good looking when done, but the carbon you se is not the parts that I will use, will make new ones, those are from my PB for mock-up purposes. Where made by me before I knew of decal solvents.

so I cut the rear bulkhead apart I can ad the transmission in an later stage and glued in the second frame rail. Have been working on the firewall and cut once on my measurement.. but I measured wrong so glued it back together and will do that cut over again next time and measure better. Made a quick mock-up with seats and some reinforcements for the front part of the frame. Which will be needed since I move the engine. NASCAR parts from the same Monogram kit that I have taken the cage from.

Thanks! I think it will be good! I have an idea.. what if I relocate the radiator to the back for better weight distribution since the motor is moved forward so much. Hard thing would be to get air in, the bed is usually a low pressure zone so I guess air flow would be an issue so a bigger radiator would be needed. I don’t want to cut of the rear tailgate so an option would be to make channels on each side of the defusor to draw it out. But then again air is moving fast underneath the car since it’s flat so a risk would be that the pressure bellow is higher tan above.. Might be better to turn that around.. air from underneath and out over a wing on the tailgate. Hum. Wonder if it’s worth it.. would create downforce I guess. We will see if I get so far or I just make it simple and put it in a traditional location..

Good work everyone! Like seeing the different projects coming together! I really like this theme! #19 Silverado over a Corvette C5-R I made the decision to start gluing the frame rail to the chassis and suspension and paint it all in one go. The chassis is flimsy and I think it will aid my engineering process when things stay in place. Problem I had was that I some how need to get the transmission and parts in after gluing the rear bulkhead and tanks in place. At the same time I notice that the tunnel for the propchaft is of center since they have no passenger seat. So I will make a new transmission túnel so I can glue the tanks in with the frame rails and then ad the tunel after assembly of the transmission and before assembly of the interior and cage. This week a new bed will arrive so I can glue it to the cab, decided to get a new one to save me some time in this project, also needed mirrors and som other misc parts.. the other one I plan to make into a pre runner later. After I get the bed fixed to the cab, due to everything being carbon fiber they decided to secure everything together so it will be fixated better, I can sort the lift of the rear suspension and start extending the Venturi to stretch to the rear valance. -
Looks very good! Keep up the good work!
