Some small steps forward.. I think.. even though I keep incorporating new ideas al the time! ? Made a start on the rear suspension pushrod modification. Need to adjust the angle a bit. The pencil makes for a good replacement coil over shock in comparison to the box piece and the Shelby series one part. also made some work up front by removing the stock steering gear and grinding al those parts out, and made a start on the replacement C5 corvette part from the partsbox.

Scored à second hand airbrush on the webs today, the exact same I have been watching to buy, and at less than half the price. Just hope the condition is ok!

The latest thought.. pushrod suspension mod to make the rear suspension more interesting and give the massive tires some more space.

Beautiful build! It looks absolutely perfect, so great job on those old decals and paint! These are some bad as looking trucks and hav definitely inspired my C5R Silverado under whip pickups. Thanks for sharing! If you have an other of those kits I would love to get my hands on one, the only nascar I would love to build!

#19 Silverado C5R The team is making progress on the race truck. They are right now trying to build a dash for the cab.

Started working with the dash. The stock dash will be hard to fit.. the corvette dash is to narrow.. but a Revell 1/24 nascar dash might cut it. What’s your thought on this piece? Feels like every step is a lot of engineering, I am glad that’s my profession?

The stock hood have some how shrinked.. it’s to short for the fitment to the grill, so it was as I suspected. A new hood have to be sorted. Won’t start fiddling with extending this one at the moment.
