Back on this little gem! Doing some work on the interior. I found someone selling the interior parts I needed from the Lindbergh Chevelle kit to make another bench seat for the front. I cut the seat base from the rear interior panel for the base of the new front bench seat and shaped the area a little more where it fits around the trans tunnel. I added some styrene pieces to the curved cut outs on the seat to make the sides solid and then added some angle to the back edge. I then added a piece of sheet styrene to close up the back. I also filled in the area of the trans tunnel where the floor shifter would have been. Looking pretty good I think.

Wow! Very nice job! All the mods you have done are fantastic and I love the color! -
Good to know. Thanks for the tip.

Super detailed! Are you sure you aren’t trying to fool us with pics from a real 1:1 car!! Your work is absolutely amazing!!! Very nice!

Yes, I think your right on buying the whole kit due to the fact that it looks like a very nice engine that comes with it as well and yes, you get every part you need for what you are trying to accomplish. What is your primer of choice by the way? I’ve been toying around with changing what I normally use ( Krylon Industrial Grey) Keep up the great work!

Very nice build! Paint and the bird look awesome!

Looking great! The added material to the wheel wells did the trick. IMHO, the motor does look like it is sitting a bit too high. I just seen on an auction the frame and suspension from the Caddy kit. I think I’m going to get that for something in the future seeing as how you have used it so well!

Thank you very much for all of the compliments! I love building, creating, and hopefully inspiring others. Thanks a bunch Oliver! They were from a Ford Starliner diecast.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the compliments. Yes indeed Steve. I was a member there for a long time. The Willy’s is my favorite. I am very proud to say I have won many awards with that one including a people’s choice award at the NNL 15 show in Milwaukee 2007 Very humbling!

Wow, lots of stunning paint jobs! Here is my favorite paint job by far. Revell 41 Willy’s. I was very proud of this one by receiving a people’s choice award at the NNL 15 show in Milwaukee 2007. Yes, 14 Year’s ago! Colors are HOK Candy Apple Red over Duplicolor Champagne.

Since I’ve been a member on this great forum, I’ve posted about a couple of current projects I’m working on I.e. 66 Malibu 4D and 32 Ford roadster. In 2019, my wife and I bought a new house and since then my past builds have been stored in boxes awaiting to be displayed in my new hobby room. The other day I thought I should get them out and take some pics for you guys to take a look at and see what I like to work on. I have a lot more but these are my favorites. I was away from the hobby for a while just due to not having the time, so some of these are from a few years ago like the 41 Willy’s that was built in 2007. Hope you enjoy.

This is going o be awesome! I really like all of the mods you have done already especially the removal of the door hump! Really makes the Merc’s look very sleek and streamlined. Will be following this with much anticipation!

Thanks Tom. I can only hope it turns out half as good as yours did!
