  1. I think I got this bodies left fender, grille and hood to where its workable. There are some pinholes in the drivers side drip rail left to repair and address the front of the hood corners where it meets the bumper/grille , the corners need to be more squared . Firewall and inner fenders are as good as its gonna get. I have the chassis trimmed to fit so Im going to take a break from the body and move onto an easier tasks for awhile.?
  2. Motor City NNL is also a really good show, many vendors too.
  3. I like those older Eldon show rods myself. That one looks pretty mint. The only one I have from that series is Bob Reisners "The Bathtub".
  4. More resin.....1959 Olds 2 door... I found some good chrome a chassis plus the glass at Toledo in a zip lock really cheap and bought the body / interior on line.
  5. This is the one I like to see get a second chance .
  6. Ah....ok, I think he was at the Motor City NNL last year . I was with Dean Milano there too and he did mention items looked like R&R stuff.
  7. ? I see them too now, all good stuff Tom.
  8. Dont know, last weekend at the NNL 40 there was a vendor that had 4 big tubs of assorted resin bodies for $10 each.
  9. This is the one I should have walked away from but this resin body was only $10 and I really like the subject. First I got the grille opened up and beefed it up where the pinholes caused the grille to crack in spots. The back half of the body and from the center of the doors down is nice resin, the front end , roof and door tops will take more work. The hood is thick and with the work I did so far it almost fits right , inner fenders and firewall rough and need work. AMT 49 Mercury will be the donor, and leaning towards a mild custom. This ones gonna take a lot of coffee.?
  10. I only see the very first one. The rest are white screen, not even broken link, just blank.
  11. Nice looking build and weathering.
  12. Yes ...your not the only one with that fear....me too?

  17. Great weekend, great models and fantastic people . More pictures in my Fotki link below. https://public.fotki.com/bigtruck199/nnl_13_milwaukee_wi/toledo-nnl-40-the-h/
  18. I made up some name tags for my compadres and myself, so if you see us walking around this weekend stop and say "Hello".
  19. Drummer for Cream one of my favorite bands growing up in the 60s. He was not liked much as a person but cant argue his talent. That wickedness perhaps included his notorious temper – “I used to be mean – I’d deliberately mess up recording sessions with my temper and go mad at the slightest thing,” he said in 1970. He was married four times – “If a plane went down and there was one survivor, it would be Ginger. The devil takes care of his own,” first wife Elizabeth Ann Baker said in 2009
  20. We may remember everyone in the vehicle but will we remember where we are going? Scary thought, I think Im the youngest in our group of 4 . Last trip to the NNL, Luc was the kid in the car.??
