  1. Is it a car or a showrod is it a truck now? Not sure where to put it so here is a safe bet. Cobbled a better interior with a little more detail and opened the cowl vent. Waiting on some sitting figures to come in . Those will need a lot of work to look close to the characters.
  2. Picked up one today ,76 parts, great decals. heres whats in the box.
  3. Thats a fine looking Ford.
  4. I spotted it on a Facebook page yesterday.
  5. Vince I found a pic. Type in Munsters Surf Slab and you will find it. Looks like you need to use parts from Drag u la and the Koach.
  6. BIGTRUCK

    Drag-u-la

Tried 3 different shades of gold before staying with Krylon Short cuts gold. Straight forward box build. Had to pin some parts and scrape off some chrome but its all good.
  7. I looked that info up and found the old Model Car Science ran an article on building a car out of the Surf Slab in the May of 1966 issue with pictures, thanks Karl.
  8. I'm building the Munsters Drag-U -la and even though I grew up when the show was on I dont remember any surfboard on top of this car.I looked for pictures thinking maybe in the movie they made but never found any. What did I miss?
  9. Really a nice looking build.
  10. Pretty neat idea for a build. You did a good job on it.
  11. Sure, the top one is the kit I used, the bottom one is what I borrowed the tires and wheels from.
  12. Yes its a curbside. They actually did 3 versions that I have built, 2 Humvee and this H2 version.
  13. A lot of painting on this H2 ,but at least it was molded in white. Mostly built from the box but with a few extras, made an extra bar on top of the roof rack and different tires and wheels ,surfboard and skis.
  14. I had this Revell California Wheels H2 kit from 2005 started but lost interest in it and totally forgot about it .I re-found the kit, I knew I had some bigger better tires/wheels from a Revell military Humvee, so before starting another project , maybe I can get this one done. Its a high detail Snap-kit and there is alot of trim that needs to be painted flat black plus all the glass needs to be masked off and outlined in black.
  15. The old school trucks are fun builds and great to see.
  16. It took awhile but got this one done. I had an extra cab so I worked it into the build also.
  17. Bought a few Monogram stakebed kits , just came with complete body, complete bed, sub frame for bed, tires and wheels, dash, hubs, windshield frame and seat frame. Scratched out the frames, everything else is parts box. Need to get some chain for the drives, just not finding any that look good yet. All paint is a satin finish, also the engines were gone, so its curbside.
  18. Its been awhile since I been on the trading scene, but I just completed a trade with bismarck (Kevin Little). Two thumbs up for the good trade.
  19. Pretty cool , its like a "Steampunk Frankie"
  20. Jim the 5th wheel is pretty simple on these.
  21. Looks great, I’m building one now as a tractor trailer,. Good job on yours.
  22. Took Leaky Boat Louie and Revell Hummer kit to make the One Man Army ready for action. Cut the center roof section out and made a new one out of sheet plastic and lowered it by 3/8 inch. Extras are rear slicks, front sand tires, open rear hatch and added a missle made from GI Joe scuba tank ,put in green glass, raised the air intake and added air scoop ,giant headers , boat hitch and had to scratch build a trailer. All the military items were donated by a G.I Joe collector.
