  1. Really nice work , the color combo really fits it.
  2. Found a few items at the Countryside toyshow today. The 59 Lincoln was put together with Elmers glue but cleaned up well , picked up a roof for it . Nightmoves had bad decals , but cheap enough.
  3. Very cool, it looks like the real deal.
  4. I didnt notice him at Dupage Nick Feb. 2019.
  5. Got this 1/24th food truck and new old stock AMT 60 Mercury body.
  6. Got this Flinstone resin Ford all buttoned up . Revell/ Monogram 50 Ford was the donor for many of the parts. Used Flinstone resin tire / wheel combo . Had to really chop up the interior to fit and make new door panels and install them on the cab rather than on the interior tub. Everything else was parts box. Paint was Tamiya AS23 green and Tamiya TS26 white, clear coated with semi gloss.
  7. With painting done, the next step is the front , rear and side glass.
  8. First color on the cab, second color will be white from the body line just below the side windows and up and white grille . Need to make some round mirrors while paint cures.
  9. I bought this today but wont get it for a few weeks. It looks really well done as there were pics of it built but not painted. The have autos also but all from the same era as the firetuck. You can also buy the kit with figures at a higher price.
  10. With the interior tub done, engine done, I started detailing out the one piece tires/rims , they are J/F resin items also. Once the tires are done I will focus on the door panels and headliner and start fitting the glass in.
  11. Thanks..I beefed up and boxed up the 50 Ford frame.
  12. I know the hood front is somewhat square but in order to get that rounded look I would have to cut out a pretty big piece and re do the leading edge. Plus there are accents coves that go under the side hood trim that this hood also lacks. Im happy with it, I spent some time on it. I have many kits to build and Im not getting any younger? Interior is all trimmed to fit, and floor mounts in.. Door panels made just need some details on them. Dash, seat and part of the floor are kit parts , the rest is made from Evergreen Plastic.
  13. Thats a nice military build.
  14. The front is supported by the front frame rails in the body notches for bumper, rear cab epoxy support block as a temp then make a cross member for rear cab support.
  15. Updates on this resin dont change much early in the build as most of the work is hidden to make parts fit. Thin walled the hood to fit better. Have the stance close enough for my eyes. Bumper and grille fitted and pinned .Now start the interior , the window area needs some thinning on the inside.
  16. This one been taking the back seat for awhile so now its time to get it done. Cut some sheet plastic for the interior panels and floor and start beefing up the frame. J/F resin cab and tires with wheels. Grille ,bumper and door handles are Monogram 1950 pickup with chrome removed. Seat , glass and some other items are from the Monogram kit also.
  17. Front bumper was from a 1/24 th Monogram Toyota pickup, I clipped the left and right top sections off.
  18. Soapbox derby racer made from Draculas dragster and a J/F resin Herman Munster head. Boots are GI Joe. Paint is done with Vellejo acrylics .
  19. Got this kit cheap because it was missing the chrome tree and tires. The chrome trash can fuel tanks , the front and rear body/ chassis , interior and people were in the box, everything else was from the parts box. Paint is white pearl over ice blue.
