  2. When Im home not doing much I leave it on, since I drive local now and wait at stops to load and unload I check the forum on my phone.
  3. It was just an awesome day for a car show, $5 to park and free to get in. Almost every picture is another modeling idea. the rest is here http://public.fotki.com/bigtruck199/car_shows_11/cantigny-2015/

  6. For your small parts I would test it first before tossing them all in , just a thought, I dont trust the stuff that much
  7. Ive used it twice, in both cases the vent window frame fell off [ not a big deal ] and on 1 body the convertible frame cracked. I may have let it sit too long in the solution. It removed the paint but I think its to harsh on kit plastic,Plus the stuffs a little pricey.
  8. Hope to meet a few of the modelers from this forum snap some pictures , post them on my Fotki to share with all those that could not attend.
  9. "Also, look at some of Revell's more challenging kits of the early 1960s...Mickey Thompson's Challenger One for example. No way were these intricate and difficult models aimed primarily at a market lacking the skills to build them well...though many of us as youngsters, including me, made horrible bodged messes of the best of them." The55,56 57 Chevy, the Swindler Willys, the 57 Nomad and showrods all had doors, hoods, trunks or bubble tops that opened. Tiny hinges on the 29 pick up all things that steered me away from Revell as a young modeler. Metal axles and easy install clear parts was my route back then.
  10. Ive sold many myself , problem is for every 5 I sell I replace them with 3. Im really only looking for a few hard to get kits [ that Ive been searching for forever and will probably never get] meet a few fellow builders and enjoy the day

  21. That is really a cool build
  22. Very nice build, fits into the dio well, which also looks good
  23. The picture on my phone is scrunched left to right, stretched out tall top to bottom on the forum site, if I tap on Bills picture it shows me the original picture from corvetteforum.com and its fine, back to the forum its distorted ....on my laptop the picture is fine. Pretty much I can deal with it, an extra step here or there to make it work is fine with me.
  24. Good lookin Ford, I get bored building things stock, Ive tried it,but I enjoy looking at builds like yours.
