  1. Thanks for all your comments. Truck is done in Chicago P.D. decals posted in Under Glass.
  2. Thats different , pretty cool build looks good.
  3. trying Bills method, right click pic..
  4. Been along time since I completed a build, but I got this done today. The only real issue was knocking down the black gloss, I shot it with dull instead of semi gloss but at this stage of the build I'm OK with it.The gloss paint is in the ''on the bench thread'' And the back half is what caused the most work. It was a Flintstone piece, it was ok but a little toy like , so a chop here a cut there and some extra plastic a few brass items and some arms.
  5. Looks good , I like the older I.H. trucks
  6. Gregg, the "insert other media" "insert image from URL" was the way I always posted pictures, Friday you could paste in the code, hit "insert image to post" and the little loading icon just keeps spinning. Sunday I got it to accept 1 image code and it appeared in the draft stage, but when I sent it to post it was gone. Dave, loading from the hard drive is the option, but when you run out of room and delete pictures it leaves the forum with broken links in the thread, its all workable just have to change the way I do pictures on the cave wall.
  7. Harry, remember simpler times no digital cameras,no internet, no atta-boys just a kid with a kit and a tube of glue.
  8. Followed good advice to load onto hard drive, by-pass Fotki...lets try this again.Pics maybe big, Fotki resizes mine
  9. got some details and painting done, should finish first build in years this week.[ picture was here now gone]
  10. AHHHH thanks Bill thats the intel I needed. When something doesnt work right and your a caveman like me its not good
  11. Thanks Bill for the reply, my issue with trying to post a picture started yesterday, was just wondering if it was on my end or not . I didnt see many pictures being posted. Posting from my Fotki works every place but here.
  12. Is there an issue posting Fotki photos or is it just me?
  13. Welcome,..the paint stand your probably seeing may be the Tamiya paint work station. Price is between 19 and 25 bucks depending where you purchased it.
  14. Thats gotta be the nicest interior tub Ive seen..
  15. Howard , thats some kinda old school stash you have. Really neat to see.
  16. With back half done and in primer, chassis painted, I started on the engine and the cab/interior areas. The last few resin items for the cab should be in today.
  17. wow Mark, hope all is and stays ok.
  18. The vintage model seller or sellers on ebay that lists models ''Buy it now'' a part per listing until the whole kit is listed taking up the whole page . I know its a get what you can get and I dont have to look or buy it. Maybe its just me, just sayin'.
  19. Some of these I heard of but never saw before, and some I never knew existed like the ''interier'' spelling or the 39/40 coupe box.
  20. Pretty cool of you to do that. My grandson just turned 5 and is happy with a few hot wheels I always have on hand, tried the snap kit once and it was "can you do it " or a cartoon came on. Maybe in a few years I'll again, but until then I'm enjoying the visits, handing out freebies and watching cartoons.
  21. Chassis upgrades were add 1 inch to length to accept back box vs pick up bed. Add bigger rear end for duel tires and narrow it to fit tires under box.Enlarge rear wheel radius so box drops over tires. Build floor as box comes as a shell. Lopped off roof and make a completely new one, old one was shaped odd and was heavy.Cut out windows adding screen and bars then frame openings. Drill out areas for lights. While waiting for other resin parts to come in Ill start on the truck. This section of the roof is a solid piece.
  22. Is that 1/24th? It looks like the Revell kit I have somewhere. but I never opened it.
  23. Welcome Kevin, sounds like your plate is pretty full .
