  1. Blue with the white top looks good . The 64 chevy kits were pretty limited on the custom offerings, kit and parts box raid. Good job.
  2. That tire/wheel combo looks great.
  3. While waiting a few days on my other build I got going I started another. Im gonna go through all my duplicate kits and build them as customs. This 64 Chevy had a few dimples and some extra thick plastic running inside the drivers door . With the blems smoothed out and front and rear custom bumpers added and smoothed I found some lower rocker panel treatments from 66 old T- bird kit and some chrome reverse wheels from the 57 T-bird kit.Found older grille in parts box with clear lenses. Color is still in the air but Im gonna try the Testors all in one brand again. I was a little leary on this paint without using a base coat , but I liked it, [this time]
  4. wait a few days, clear, try decals, and polish it up
  5. I never seen this kit in plastic, nice kit, sharp build.
  6. Got this one far enough getting ready to paint, the decals I want to use are from the original Thunderbird kit. The sheet looked perfect so I cut out one for a test and it just cracked to pieces. I then clear coated the sheet and let dry for 2 days, did another test and it seems it will not adhere to a flat surface even with decal set. The decals go well with the Inca Gold paint but may have to abort the decals. Mixed some flocking and added P/E window cranks, Engine just a stock build. Will finish interior today, just need to finish seat backs, paint top of dash body color and do the T.V. Head lights drilled out and clear lenses installed

  9. Smooth build, very well done.
  10. No never did , its a you gotta be in the mood to do the real classic kits and you can pick them up pretty cheap. I can open it up today and lay it out if you want. The outer plastic shrink is about worn and torn.
  11. Ive got one, still sealed,I had an open one but traded it off. Molded in blue and black
  12. I take it nobody likes it in yellow?
  13. I like the modifieds, yours looks super
  14. Used part of original stock front end minus the bumper, the custom front that came with the kit was just to flat and I used custom kit rear chrome.
  15. Its like that on my S5 also Bill.when I tap the pic to view its fine.
  16. Dont know, but yesterday I did a drag and drop and it stopped me at 4 pictures stating limit was reached. I then posted it and started another thread to post 1 more picture. It took the 1 picture put it with the other 4 making 1 thread .with 5 pictures
  17. At first glance you would think this tooling is getting bad, there is a bad dimple on the right front fender in a bad spot. Now this was a 1995 issue, I have the original hardtop and convertible and both have this dimple. cant miss it. With a few mold lines and a slight rocker issue repair. I think it will make a good long low custom.

  20. The company sent me to Joplin Missouri to remove Red Box machines a few days after the F5 devastated the area. There were two of us working for 4 days , it was bad, I mean bad, I was in Arkansas and then Missouri outbreaks and never want to see that again.
  21. I know what you mean, start out one way and as days go on an idea pops up from left field and the entire build goe another way. Idea your building looks fun.
