I have two of these: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/tertial-work-lamp-with-led-bulb-dark-gray-00424985/ I have 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs in them, I just screwed the mounts to my desk. I also have an LED magnifier. I had everything up and running in less than 20 minutes. Rog?

Looks like a great project. We don’t have anything like that around here. Every thing here is the front discharge type. When you get around to mounting the cab and hood, I would very much appreciate it if you could give us a quick rundown on your method for mounting these aftermarket items. I have yet to delve into the resin cab conversions ( I intend to in the future ) and I really have no clue whereto start. Thanks Rog ? -
My guess is it is a 20ft container. I used to work for a packaging co. It was used for some packaging, lotto tickets and wrapping paper. If I can recall it was .0005” (super thin), the rolls we got were 62” web width and had 150,000feet on them. We usually got 25 rolls per shipment, they were around 1,800 lbs per roll. Rog?

Another question? Do you have to cut close to the rivets or will primer hide the edge of the carrier just fine? Thanks Rog?

Question? AMT Bigrig Semi Trailer
wayne00 replied to wayne00's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks for the info!! I have a bunch of other open kits, maybe they ended up in one of them. If not, I will probably just grab some I beam stock and make my own. Rog? -

Yes, this one. Rog? -
The instructions show two I beam frame rails that install in front of the rear bogie. My kit doesn’t have these pieces. Is this an oversight by the company or were these removed for the later issues of the kit? Thanks Rog?

Thank for the info! One of the videos I watched said to use the G scale 5(8 rivets. He said it was almost a perfect match for the kit rivets. Thanks agin. Rog?

Archer water slide rivets. Do they need a glossy surface, or can they be applied directly to the primer? I have done some research and it seems to be the best way to deal with the seam on the Freightliner COE. Thanks Rog?
