I scheduled my annual DOT physical for Friday but I switched it to Monday. Friday is the 13th.

I got home from work a half hour or so ago from a long day on the road but TGIF. The school kids have nine days of school left thankfully. After that, A week off and then, the summer camps start. And my 08 Corolla is doing great. 🙂

I've been looking for a Chevy Monza for a while on E Bay and scored this AMT one that's customized from a vendor that lives just North of me and for a real song. He even cleaned it up before shipping it out and it arrived overnight. What a guy. 🙂

Another quiet Sunday for me as I binged watched Karma Cop videos on YouTube. I'm addicted to them. 🙂

She was the third well known Hollywood celebrity to pass away this month. The other two were Joe Don Baker and George Wendt.

The rain that's been hammering the Boston area for the last few days has finally stopped. Thursday's rain alone dump almost 3 inches. We'll be getting a decent amount of sunshine and low 70s starting on Monday.

It was raining cats and dogs all day and I wished that I had a submarine instead of a school bus. When I approach a stop by looking through the periscope, I would say "Surface" "Surface" with the alarm going. When I leave for the next stop, I'd say "Dive" "Dive" with the alarm going.

I've been derelict in my duties in getting rid of the dust in my place so I spent an hour cleaning. Next were the cars in the display cases. The last one, an AMC Rambler by Johan was the dustiest of them all. I blew into the interior to get the dust out and it just about covered my face.

I needed a birth certificate and SS card to renew my Class B CDL back in Sept. of 2020 before my birthday for the first time per Federal and State law. I'll need to do it again next year.

It's Friday, I got paid and here's something that got it started off great. The Karma Cop pinched a lead foot who's been blowing the stop sign on my school bus for a while. Mr. KC was in an unmarked Ford Taurus that looked like others out on the road. As soon as Richard Petty raced by the sign, Mr. KC pounced on him siren, lights and all. The parents, myself and my monitor (A lady assistant) all cheered. 🙂

It'll be rainy and chilly right through tomorrow. The heat for the building was shut off on the first but thankfully, I have my trusty space heater.

The doctor offered one but the clinic didn't have any on hand at the time. It'll send one out to me in the mail once more arrive.

I was at the VA clinic this afternoon to get my blood pressure checked and the doctor was pleased that it went down quite a bit. He put me on a second prescription and it seemed to have help. I'll be going back on the 21st on this month.

The local news called for rain much of the weekend here in Eastern Massachusetts but it turned out better than expected. I came in not long ago from a few hours of cruising in the 08 Corolla. Partly cloudy with the sun peeking through and mid 70s,.

NOAA discovered a 40 or 41 Ford Woodie Convertible inside the hangar deck of the WW2 carrier USS Yorktown some 3 miles below the surface. It looks surprisingly intact for being below the ocean surface and at that depth for over 80 years.
