For super sport drag 64 fairlane super sport, in a sanctioned NHRA event: black engine, correct?. One or 2 exhaust pipes? exiting rear, not side? Were these connected when running in NHRA events?seat belts?red oxide primer on bottom of chassis?Interior floor black? was it a rubberized finish ? or just flat black? What are best matches for interior colors: siege (lite brown) and palomino (tan)

I like that flat look, homemade dragger. I want to combine the revell 57 ford body with their 57 gasser wagon- chassis and engine, to make a gasser.
-
Great, what kits were used, looks like the newish 57 ford by revel and their 57 gasser wagon ??
-
NICE, how did you paint the body ????

Darryl was a master car builder & member of IPMS NJ, where he exhibited truly outstanding custom and drag model cars. RIP. Sorry if this was previously reported here, I could not find. He posted here as Doctordarryl.. Proprietor of Scale Auto Details. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/mcall/obituary.aspx?pid=184403411

Have you tried the dr cranky salt method of weathering, thinking trying it myself -
yeah thanks, the kit includes the hood pins but they are not in the instructions, also mags for front and rear, and the cheater slicks for rear.

moebius kit, Tamiya white paint, great kit. Flipped the front spindes for higher ride height. A day 2 car, Some interior shots added, I used insignia red and roof red mixed. Then I sprayed Future wax on sections for glossy look. A great kit. done for an IPMS national web site review.
