Great work on the '57. I looked in on your Lindstrom website. Cool looking Chevy's. At first I was thinking I had never heard of the FHRA then realized its in Finland.

Soooo many color choices with craft paint. It's now my go too stuff. Your color choice is what it is....if it's what you like go for it!! I will also be doing this kit (probably as a drag car).

I'm really surprised to hear your HL didn't have those items. I know mine is my fairly small city have both. Those look good Tom, thanks for that posting. Those look perfect to me!! How did you do the angled boots??

For me, and my skills aren't even close to the level of a lot of you guys, Plug wires are a must ( and if there is not kit coil I add that too) and the upper radiator hose since they are really the most obvious items that are seen. And since the majority of models don't seem to have alternator or generator brackets I recently bought photo-etch brackets for those. My models are not meant to be show pieces and are displayed in as enclosed case with the hoods shut (and probably never to be opened anyway) so exterior finish quality and details are mostly important to me. Just me 2 cents worth fwiw?

Anyone deal with him? Lots of parts with very good prices.

Gotta say, that is a pretty cool model. So many (me definately included) are stuck on Tri-5 Chevys but the '57 Fords aren't bad!!

I don't remember if they even worked after heated but that was 55 years ago.??
