  1. Yeah, Chevy didn't copy the Ferrari much huh.
  2. Yep Bernie, great job on the iconic Willys. Paint job is beautiful!!?
  3. OK Bob my friend, did you clear this and what with if so? You said you were going to use Anita's Craft paint. Is that what the color coat is?
  4. My second ever attempt at building headers. I used 2mm solder as has been suggested. I guess they came out pretty good, but not too sure about the "design". Did'nt do collectors yet.
  5. OK, I give in. There have been so many great looking cars over the years and to pick my favorite is a tough one. I love '57 Chevies and I'm a bit surprised that I think only one is shown on this thread. So, I'm gonna choose one that sits in my garage right now:
  6. That DeSoto really is a nice looking car!! Would make a nice model.
  7. Tom, what paint did you use on the Nova bumper??
  8. So Roger, will it be xilver or blue. Both should look great!!
  9. So interesting how different folks have different strokes?
  10. This is a topic that could go on forever. All the above (well maybe...some "exotics" for me are a bit over the top) are great looking cars and there will be a lot of opinions. For me, there are just too many great looking cars it's too difficult to choose one. It would probably be easier to pick best looking by catagory (ie: muscle, sports, stc.)
  11. That micrometer/ruler would be helpful for precise measurements for sure. Thanks Tom, good suggestion.
  12. There is a 1950 Chevy P/U model you could use. I'm thinking they look about the same.
  13. I'm gonna say it again, that is one cool pickup Bob. Need a replica model of it.
  14. I guess I have problems getting each piece exactly the same. I try to measure them but I always seem to either missmark it or the ruler slips a little.
  15. This will be my first tubbed chassis build so I'm hoping it works out.
  16. Wheels and engineLooking good Chaz, keep up the good work!?
  17. Ya got it buddy????
  18. Thanks Tom, It's what I have done but it's too easy to not get it straight. I was thinking of something that has maybe a built in guide if you know what I mean
  19. So what is a good not too expensive tool to make straight precise clean cuts on thicker styene sheet??
  20. Glad you pointed that out to Bob. Went to get our 2d Covid Shot so couldn't reply fast enough to point that out.
  21. Dave has kinda been my "mentor" with the painting process. He has the right advice and answers.
