  1. Very nice Cougar David!!!?
  2. Looking for suggestions for painting one piece interior "tubs". Brush painting door panels (when 2 or more diffenent colors) sometimes just doesn't cut it. And the super narrow chrome trim can be a....well you know LOL. Masking can be difficult at times too. So my Friends, what ya got??
  3. Too many great looking builds to comment on. Picking a favorite, not easy??
  4. Nice job on the icon Pat!!?
  5. Very cool Dave, great job on it!! ?
  6. Wow Lin, thats perfection and beautiful??
  7. Cleaned up nice Bob and the primer looks good. I forget what primer you use.
  8. Sorry Mark, I kinda lost track of your thread. The interior looks great?
  9. Been retired several years now and re-took up the hobby shortly after. I pretty much work every day after lunch for 2-3 hours during weekdays except for those occasional grocery shopping and doctors visit days. Usually not much on weekends tho. I have been pretty much had a model (sometimes 2) on the "bench" continuously since shortly after retirement.
  10. Thanks Dann. Not sure about "killer" but I'm tryin'? Yeah, I surprised myself on that one?
  11. Thanks Dann. Now to complete it.
  12. I agree it would look better out the back, will be a bit of a challenge to get all the bends right. The mufflers are made using .100 evergreen rod and very thin sheet material. I cut 3 same length pieces of rod (what ever length you want the muffler to be) and glue them flat side by side. Then cut the sheet the same length and wide enough so it wraps around the rod with a bit of overlap. I cut small pieces of thre thin sheet for the ends and trim and sand them to the shape of the oval ends of the muffler.
  13. Wow Tom, that is a super cool looking Sedan. Great paint!!
  14. Beautiful car Bo?
  15. Hey Buddy. Have not built that one but the chassis for my current '55 build is from that kit. I always thought the '66 Chevy II 2Dr Sedan with the L79 engine was a cool car. Build on my friend!!?
  16. The orange looks great on it Ismo. Nice paint job too!!?
  17. I'll bite (no pun intended). WTH is that??
  18. Great looking Pontiac engine?
  19. Looks great. Those big boys were very sharp looking cars.?
  20. Really makes it "POP"!!
  21. I'll be first to comment. Cool looking build Scott. Interest green wheels but they look good ?
  22. I'm just blown away everytime I see progress reports on this beauty.
  23. Since the AMT '55 kit has moulded in exhaust system and I'm using the '66 Nova Pro Stock chassis, I needed mufflers and pipes. So, I made two mufflers and will be using the 2mm aluminum "wire" for the exhaust and tail pipes. Another first in my modelling history. Below are what I'm calling a mockup so far. I haven't decided to work on bending the "wire" to bring the tailpipes out the rear or go simple and exit the pipes to each side in front of the rear tires.
  24. Had the day planned to do some model painting (supposed to be sunny, no rain until Thursday) and its RAINING!! The reason its a problem is I have to pull my "garage queen" TransAm out of the garage to paint. Ya know, it just can't get rained on.?
  25. Great looking Alex!!?
