  1. That Chevy pickup is sure nice!! Thanks for the pics Josh.
  2. I have that holder also. The styrofoam piece on the end is a great idea, glad I looked at this.
  3. Very nice Keith?
  4. My Hobby Lobby has the black one and I bought mine there last week. With the 40% "All Models" sale was $15 with the tax.
  5. Welcome Rich, yep, as Bob said, pretty "kewl"?
  6. You are so right Carl. I probably should have done that several times over on this one.
  7. I just looked my current AMT '55 kit and the wheels are not even 5 lug wheels, they are blank to put the wheel covers on.
  8. Welcome David. Good folks on here and a lot can be learned. I sure have benefitted from the forum.
  9. Very nice job Roger on a seldom seen car. If thats BMF trim(which I'm sure it is) you did a beautiful job on it?
  10. Heck, I don't even think I could get a first light coat to look right. I have it to airbrush also but I haven't tried it. I just had 2 windows retinted on our Expedition and got some actual tint film from the guy to try out.
  11. I'm gonna try, but sometimes I'm wonder. Thanks about the paint job, fix one frustration only to encounter another.
  12. Thanks Mark.....but now I have discovered the kit firewall won't work with the modified '66 Nova Pro Mod chassis and the Nova firewall will need extensive work. This whole project is getting to be a little too much for my old brain and skill level.
  13. Looks grreat Mark, you got the hole spaced perfectly my friend.
  14. Very sharp looking Helmut.?
  15. And the panel lines aren't the only screw up. This evening I realized that I now have to do something for a firewall on my '55. The kit one won't work since I'm using a modified '66 Nova Pro Mod chassis and the Nova one needs to be cut up and redone so it will clear the top of the transmission. I have pretty much decided this will be by last non-OOB build. Way too much trouble for my old brain and skill level. I did manage to repair the panel line screw-up tho....I think at least.
  16. Well that should be cool Les, will be watching.
  17. Beautiful color Rex, I'm not a big fan of white interior but gotta agree with Rob,white for me.
  18. The smoke on the window looks great Craig. I have sprayed it on 3 different models none with very good results. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
  19. Since I started this thread, I might as well add my latest screw up, but sorry, no picture. Bought the '57 Snaptite kit for a simple build and decided to scribe panel lines. Easy right. Oh sure, not for me!! Got off track on a door panel and now have 2 panel lines on one side.? Never again!!
  20. YES!! Thanks for the pictures guys.
  21. Love the 914's JC?
  22. Thanks Ray. I started on mine and while scribing (trying to at least) a door panel line got off track and messed up the door and now have to figure out to repair it. Never again! And here I thought it was gonna be a simple build?
  23. Definately not a low rider fan but you did do a great job on the build Zack, all around beautiful work?
  24. You replicated that perfectly, great job Bill?
  25. Gotta ask you Ray, is that the natural stance on the kit or did you lower the front?? It's just the way I like it on a '57.
