    Great job on those Guys', incidently , the reason I put the Torque Thrust "tumblers" on mine was to replicate the 1:1 car I bought new in '79 (and of course wish stiill had). Another pic of the model slightly different angle

    Concerning the Duplicolor, I had the same dull finish until I sprayed it at humidity in the low 40's and temp in 60's. Just saying.....

    Not meaning to "hijack" your thread John, but I did this kit a while back and really don't remember all those sprue and flash issues you show ( but hey, I could have forgot...I'm old). Maybe a bad batch of kits? The decals aren't the best for sure.

    I loved the Plastikote "car color" paint. got a beautifil black metallic finish on a Corvette model a while back. Sadly, they don't sell this paint anymore.

    Very nice Albert. I'm toying with the idea of the C7R kit, doesn't seem to be very much interest in that model here on the forum.

    I agree that from what I've seen it does look like the Inca Gold, but like I said earlier it looks more gold toned in the pics. Thanks for the complements everyone.
