  1. Sweet looking kit, it looks great. There's one of these down the road from me in bright light green! It has the pick-up style back end. Yes, they really are as small as this looks!
  2. Very nice, I like the side graphics.
  3. Very nice, I like this one. The later '78 Dodge Monaco is on my list but can't get them in the UK:(
  4. Good job on this, very nice. There needs to be more four door kits on the market. There's so many builds I want to do, from Taxis to rental cars.
  5. Another nice build, the rad hose you replaced looks great.
  6. Man, that's looking nice!
  7. Thanks, Geoff. I've since bought another, thinking of making a four door version out of it. Roofline is the same I think.
  8. Thanks, guys. Yep, she's going to be posh bird this one
  9. These guys are good. Not a well known band but good tunes with lyrics to match.
  10. Love this stuff. I'm watching your production run builds with great interest, very good! I want to do a production build myself using three '62 Buick Electra's on a factory line diorama.
  11. Interior is looking great. The two shades of pink work well, very nice. Nothing worse than paint issues especially on the body. I had a similar issue with my '67 Impala build, the primer wouldn't bond to the car no matter how well prepped the plastic was. The paint would come clean off with the masking tape, I'd repair it and then the tape would pull more paint off next to the repair so I ended up stripping the whole thing and using different primer, aaagh! I know how you feel.
  12. That's very nice! I love the big fat rubber and those wheels, with the raised rear end it looks amazing. Very well done.
  13. Lots of detail on this, really nice build.
  14. Very nice. Looks a fun little kit.
  15. That looks good. Nice clean build.
  16. That looks amazing! Very nice paintwork and I love that red interior. Very nicely detailed, I like it.
  17. Got the interior detailed today but ran out of paint to do the dash, I have to buy a whole can just for that small piece. The interior is automatic style but has a manual gearbox, there's also no shifter included in the kit so I used one from my spares. The engine is in and I wanted to see if I could fit anything else in the engine bay, so I looked through my parts tin and found a spare steering box, not sure if this car had a box or rack but it's better than nothing, and I found some heater hoses which are actually headers off the Squad Rod. There's also a washer bottle in there and I scratch built a brake master cylinder. I'm trying out some solder to make some brake line. It's just a single line but again looks better than nothing. oh, and I scratch built an interior mirror using chrome sprue and added door mirrors using spot lights, they look like bullet style mirrors and work well.
  18. Thanks, Tim.
  19. I'll check it out, but I have some old headphone wire here which is extremely fine. I doubt I'll go into this much detail on my next build anyway, but we'll see.
  20. Thanks. I just checked out the site and 90% of his stock is sold out.
  21. Very nice colour on this, look forward to seeing it completed. I love the Mustang kit.
  22. Thanks, guys. I'd love to use ready made ignition wires but 1/25 Distributors and even the wires are non existent in the UK. I have an extractor fan in a kind of makeshift box in my shed and a car headlight running off a 12V car battery, it's just the cold that holds me back when painting.
  23. Finished the body, just need to do some detailing of the name scripts and side markers.
  24. Thanks, Richard. Yeah, they do look like water hoses! xD It's old telephone wire I had hanging around, being I've never done it before I thought I'd try it and if I messed it up it's just old wire. Problem now is, I'll want to do this to every build now, haha!
  25. Roof is done and the body polished up, it looks amazing and I haven't even done the gutter foiling or window frames yet! Looking through photos of this car on Google I see the front grill and headlight bezels are usually painted, either body colour or grey, seeing as I'm going the extra mile with this build I painted in the bezels instead of just leaving them chrome. I also done my first engine wiring job and now realise what I was missing out on on my previous builds, it looks so much better with plug wires! Not bad for my first attempt:D Ohh yes, there's a very smug Welshman on the forum today, you better believe it! xD haha!
