  1. Very nice! That black background really makes it stand out.
  2. Done some changes under the hood. The alternator was sitting too high which was preventing the hood from closing properly, so I cut some sprue and shaped it to look like a dynamo. The carbs and filter housing have gone and replaced with a single carburettor and stock air filter housing I had in my spares. Talk about a downgrade, Lol! I couldn't for the life of me get the steering shaft to fit in such a tight space, I tried for a good hour but there was no way it was going to fit, so I left it out. Just the front bumper left to do now and fit some small bits and this one is done!
  3. I just noticed, the title of this thread should say WCFL News Car, not New Car. I missed the S! Mods, could you edit it or let me add the S? Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks, guys. It's a fun build for sure! Being a 442 there's a few bits that are not right for the Cutlass, like the bumper/grill, door card pattern and the engine. I would imagine the Cutlass also had a bench seat and column change.
  5. There's a video on YouTube, or there used to be, about the Rover P6. A club member who supplies spares for the car had a demo P6 with all different colour bolt on panels.
  6. I made up some brackets for the alternator and steering pump and fitted the stickers to the car. I should have this finished today!
  7. Looks great. The two door is on my to do list.
  8. Thanks, Jeremy.
  9. Very good detail. I like this one, looks exactly the same as the one me and friends used to play in on the side of the road in the 80's, same colour too.
  10. Very nice. I love that midget racer and the trailer it's on. Nice work!
  11. ..and finally, foiling done. Everything else in between is also painted up, just have to put it all together now.
  12. Grill and bulkhead done.
  13. That's cool. I really like that! Reminds me of an old Ford Cortina that drove around here in the 90's advertising a paint shop. All the panels were different colours.
  14. How many pictures are on this page? I know picture take time to load lately but none of these are loading!
  15. I like that. Can't beat a good old fashioned screw bottom kit. Looking forward to seeing it progress.
  16. Got these made up today at a local print shop (Swiss Valley print) I was surprised he was open. They're printed on clear and cut around the actual logo. As far as I can figure out, these were the original colours of the WCFL call letters. I could be wrong cos only one picture exists of the actual car and it's black and white.
  17. All sorted. I checked to see if a printing shop I used years ago was still there and it was! I give him my art work and measurements and he knocked these out in ten minutes.
  18. My town is still closed apart from a few barbour shops.
  19. Looks amazing! Classy little sports car.
  20. The colours suit that nicely. Looks great.
  21. Very nice build and colour. I like the figurines.
