  1. Nice. I don't think I've ever seen a Dauphine, let alone a Gordini!
  2. Did this get finished? Would like to see the end result, I built the same car recently and also had fit issues. Like you mentioned, the front sits too high which I found was the chassis not wanting to sit tight to the inner wings. Lots of shaving of plastic on this kit I found.
  3. Nice! My dad worked on these at a Renault dealership in the 70's. The Gordini was a favourite, he said to 'move' around the lot! haha,
  4. Beautiful deep blue, and nice detailing on the interior. Looks great, very clean build.
  5. Looks great. Jade green is an odd colour, there's very few cars it looks good on, it seems to work ok on this. My '67 Impala was Jade green before I stripped it due to bad primer, it looked ok but I was kind of glad I had to strip the paint.
  6. It's a neat fix. I was wondering why the frame looked so large. You could run some black sharpie or matt paint along the edge closest to the glass to look like a window rubber. The outer part then will look like stainless trim.
  7. That's a tasty looking Nova! I like the aluminium inner fenders, nice touch.
  8. Looks great. Nice basic looking truck with no extras, I like it. Looks far better than you described. Good job!
  9. Looking good. Nice change seeing steels with hubcaps on a rod, they look really good too!
  10. Nice work. I like those wheels and tyres.
  11. ? Those headlights!
  12. I like those colours. The Galaxie 500's from the 50's and 60's are one of my favourite looking cars by Ford. 1/25 kits are hens teeth over here unfortunately.
  13. That's cool. The scale is just right too. I look for things like this at craft shops and such, like fuel pumps or street lights, but they either look too toy like or way out of scale.
  14. Wow! There's detail, and then there's this! It's taken me an hour just looking at the pictures on this thread from page one! Amazing work.
  15. That's the beauty of this hobby, if it don't fit you can make it fit. A lot of the models I've built have wheels and tyres from something else, it's just a matter of finding what is close enough to modify with the least amount of work.
  16. That's looking good. Very clean build this one, and I like those wheels.
  17. I like that. The drive-in speaker is great!
  18. I like the colour. Nicely detailed dashboard.
  19. Sweet little vans. These were popular in the UK as Bedford Rascals! I used to drive one for a stone masons many years ago.
  20. Lol, I often compare a song to another and that's the usual response I get, "Sounds nothing like it" xD
  21. Looks exactly like it. Good job!
  22. Beautiful pair of Hudsons! Moebius seem to do very nice kits, I've never built anything from Moebius but from what I've seen they look to be excellent quality.
  23. I like the vinyl roof with that colour, very nice looking car.
  24. I decided to repaint the underside cos I didn't like the red against the black chassis, it looked odd, so I gave it a light coat of primer and I'll paint the whole thing black.
