  1. Nice! I love the lines of this car, it's a great looking design.
  2. I look forward to seeing this built. I've always liked the Edsel.
  3. Cheers, guys. He has another kit on the way! I'll ask him to start his own account here.
  4. ah, that works! I was using the search bar with "everywhere" ticked. ah well, it was a good idea, Lol.
  5. Very nice clean builds? The Lada Niva has a bit of a following in the UK. Great little trucks.
  6. Very nice. A proper pocket rocket.
  7. Looks great. I do like that colour, very nice.
  8. Thanks, Larry:)
  9. What could have been! They look amazing. I especially like the Coronet Super Bee, love the front grill treatment on those.
  10. Cool. I love these Lotus Super 7's. Such a cool car.
  11. I've been looking forward to doing this one! I bought this a few weeks ago but only opened the box today and holly molly! there is a lot of plastic in here! There is a choice of four build versions in this AMT kit, five if you include your own mix and match version if you choose to! There's all sorts of toys in here, traffic cones, millage test bottle, supercharger, test gauge panel, and even a sweet little reel to reel recorder! This kit is amazing! I don't think I've used so many exclamation marks before!! Lol xD I'll be building this one up like the picture on the box, I just love the design of the front end on this. I've already started on the body and glued the front on. Cos I'm doing the custom version there will be a Lot of pre fitting to check for fit issues, and a bit of filling and sanding to hide any panel joins of the custom bits. Man, there are so many parts in this box I don't know where to begin, look how many tyres there are! Lol
  12. Cheers, Eric:)
  13. Thanks, Guido.
  14. The search function already brings up thousands of posts. If someone posted the word 'Dodge Charger' ,even if the thread isn't about the car, it brings it up. What I mean is one thread like WIP. In there would be posts, '1957 Chevy Bel Air, 1958 Chevy Bel Air, 1966 Mercury Park Lane, etc. If you have a '57 Bel Air, whether it's a custom or stock, if it's a '57 Bel Air you post your pics of that car in that post.
  15. Since joining the forum I tend to get lost in the completed section of builds looking at all the amazing creations that have been posted, but there doesn't seem to be a way to find specific models by just typing in for example, "1969 Dodge Charger RT" which would bring up only '69 Chargers, whether they be by AMT, Monogram, Revell, etc. anyone who's built a '69 Charger can post their pictures in that particular post. They can be builds from fifty years ago, to builds that have just been finished. Basically an under glass thread where all the posts are categorised by make and model. 1960 Chevy Impala 1968 Ford Mustang 1976 Ford Torino etc.. Thoughts?
  16. Cheers, Paul, and Steve.
  17. Looks great. The roof looks a little bit taller on the Monogram version and it has the chequered flag badges on the wings.
  18. Very nice. I remember the funky colour paints in the Motor shops you mention. Motorworld was an old favourite of mine.
  19. Lovely looking build! That's a really nice colour.
  20. Cheers, Ray.
  21. Thanks, Nigel. I'll have to try the Monogram release. Any pictures of them?
  22. The first photos I took I forgot to chrome the top of the fins too, so I went back in the house to do them yet I still didn't notice the rocker panels.
  23. Only noticed after uploading the pictures, I forgot to chrome the rocker panels. Now fixed.
