  1. Nice work on the chassis. I love AMC products, like British Leyland over here, it's a darn shame they went under. Both companies had such great cars, and the list of 'what could have been' is endless!
  2. As if the amount of tyres aren't enough to be spoiled for choice, all the wheel centres fit any of the tyres! I like them all, Lol!
  3. It's turning out to be one of my favourites for sure.
  4. It'll be pink! I'm debating whether to do a white vinyl roof. ah, the hood is one of two in the kit. There's also two dashboards, two glass colours, two more rear end options as well as two more front grill options. With the parts in this kit you could build another car, all you'd need is a body, base and interior tub really.
  5. I do prefer the standard size boxes, but yeah, there's no way of packing all this in one of those. Not without damaging something at least. The kit and even the box feels like they really made an effort to wow with this one, and it does. The moulds are excellent, trial fitting shows very little issues.
  6. No, your screen doesn't need adjusting, it is actually pink!
  7. I know what that is.
  8. Looks great. I had an RC version of this in Martini livery when I was younger, I loved it.
  9. Very clean build, looks amazing! Great detail all round.
  10. Done the filling and sanding of the custom panels. I've been trial fitting the trim, glass, interior tub to check for any fit issues, other than some flash needing trimming it's all good. The grill inserts pushed the hood a bit so I gave the leading edge of the hood a very light shave so it sat lower and follows the line of the centre grill piece. I also lightly sanded the top of that centre piece flat so the hood sat on it nicely. On the rear I fitted the light panel while the glue dried on the valance to get the fit right, though didn't really need to as it fit really well.
  11. Good job on the exhaust. The interior is looking nice.
  12. The Lada Riva was a very popular car in the UK around the 1990's, I used to see them everywhere, and then they just disappeared. I don't even see them at car shows.
  13. Very nice. The mods are nice and subtle and the colour looks just right for that era of car.
  14. Thanks, Jürgen. It's regular automotive aerosol followed by a cut and polish a few days later. I tend to rub through to the primer though is the only issue.
  15. Looks good, I'd be more than happy with that. The colour combo reminds me of the usual British sports cars, e-type, MGB, Triumph TR6 etc. Very nice.
  16. I love it. Smokey and the Bandit are amongst my favourite films. Burt Reynolds is sorely missed.
  17. Lean green mean machine! I like the colour, and the engine bay is looking neat.
  18. That looks good!
  19. Cheers, Chris:)
  20. Thanks, Dave. I know there are a million and one in red and white. like you say it's such a classic look, and really suits the car.
  21. Thanks. I'm just getting to grips with how the forum works.
