Yeah, of course you can. I'm humbled that anyone thinks my builds are good enough to share!

Thanks guys, your comments are always appreciated.

Mean looking beast in stunning colour. I've always liked the styling of the early 70's Camaros.

Beautiful paint on the body. Interior and engine bay are nicely detailed. Lovely build.

I can see that slinging mud on the track like no ones business with those grippers! I like the paint, it has a nice metallic sparkle to it.
-
That's a tasteful looking custom, I love the wheels and paint.

ah, that would have been before I joined the forum then. I'll take a look back through old post for them. I'll be keeping an eye out for the '62 Catalina now, you've peaked my interest, lol.

Thanks, Michael. The grill is very well moulded, the blackwash sits in the detail nicely.

Thanks, Dave. Yes, Round2 definitely have my two thumbs up for this kit. I'm surprised to see so few of them, it's an excellent kit. When I bought this I did think initially it was an old promo style mould until I opened the box, I'm thinking maybe that's why it's not a commonly seen build.

I keep meaning to pick up some acrylic paints. The way I did the interior is similar to how I do vinyl roofs, I hold the aerosol a good few feet away from the part and dust it on for a light texture.

Great kit by AMT with lots of detail and very easy to build. Comes with two engines to build stock or custom. Paint is Champagne Gold with Olympic Gold roof. Interior is Olympic Gold and white. I couldn't recreate the seat insert pattern like the real car so I did them in Olympic gold with a dusting of Aztec Bronze to darken them down a bit. The exterior colours were difficult to work with when working out the right colour combination for the interior. I spent way too much time thinking... "should I do gold seats with white package tray? ..white seats with white door cappings and dashboard?" etc. I painted the interior a couple of different configurations before I was happy. The only issue I had with the kit itself was the wheel backplates and rims were too wide for the stock tyres. I had to shave them down and cut out the rim centres to clear the hub spindles, with the hubcaps covering the damage it worked out well. So yeah, very nice kit by Round2.

Spare engine bonus in this kit! There's a second radiator support there too for some reason, could come in handy for an old promo style Ford kit maybe. What an awesome kit, one of Round2's best I think.

Another one done for the shelf... if I had any shelves that is! Man, this is a cracker of a kit by AMT, very nice mould with excellent detail and very easy to build, I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for following along guys, I'll post more pics later in completed section.

Thanks, Rich. The two shades of gold were hard to work with. Finding the right combination for the interior colours that would work with the exterior colours was a challenge.

Fun looking build, very clean work too. I've yet to build one of these oddball creations.

Nice paint and foil work. I like the old '64 Impala kit. It certainly has it's age flaws, but I'm a sucker for the charm these old promo style kits have. She's looking good in that deep red with the contrasting interior.

Thanks guys. Got a bit more progress done. Body is lacquered and the interior is almost completed, I've just the steering wheel and column left to put in. I was about to assemble the wheels, I even painted them and were ready to go, but I found they're too wide for the stock tyres. Just shave them down a bit, easy I thought, but no, the little hub that holds the wheel backplate to the kingpin would need shaving down too. I'd have to permanently glue the wheels on solid if I did that, so instead, I cut the centre out of the wheel itself as it'll be covered by a hubcap anyway. The backplates can now be trimmed down and the hubs will be hidden by the hubcaps. Happy days!

Looks good to me. The sign of a good builder is taking a pos kit and making it look not so! Very nice work. -
Lovely. I like the colour and the black bare steelies.

Sweet looking buggy. That's a crazy looking paint job, I like it.
-
Stunning looking builds. Very clean. I really like the white one with the red interior.

Thanks, Ron. Yes, it's a great movie, I watched it again the other night. There's not many films I've watched twice within a few weeks. Thanks, Hector. Thanks, Dominik.
