  1. That's good, luckily my girlfriend is a car enthusiast too. She likes her Corvettes and Mustangs, so long as there's at least a couple of those on display she's fine with a cabinete or two in the livingroom. Yes, rotating the inventory to refresh the scene is a good idea. I could probably display all my builds so far, but wouldn't take long before I run out of room in those too! lol
  2. Lovely looking cabinetes, Tom. The alcoves either side of the fireplace in my livingroom are ideal for cabinetes, finding something that fits in them though would be sheer luck.
  3. yeah, to be honest I couldn't sell them, I'm just scoping the options. More detailed builds is a good tip, it will make for nice long threads in WIP, haha! I have my attic (loft) I guess, I can store them in storage boxes.
  4. Just curious as to what you guys do with your built models. The reason I ask is I'm running out of room to store them, but I enjoy the hobby so much I don't want to just give it up because I have nowhere to put them. Do built kits sell well on ebay, if at all? How many kits can you palm off to family before they sit you down for a "quiet talk" about your problem? Lol! Do I need to buy a garden shed? xD
  5. I like that you filled in the spotlight holes. I wish I did the same on mine cos I didn't realise until after paint how comically oversized they look when fitted! Nice work.
  6. Nice work, and your friends Camaro looks dangerously fun! I love it!
  7. Love the little accessories, and that wrench is a nice touch! Nice work so far, great little kit this one.
  8. I got this from a fellow forum member but can't remember who it was! I also bought an Edsel from him, both kind of hard to find here, so thanks mate, looking forward to building the Edsel. I've got the Starliner body painted and started the BMF, there is a LOT of BMF on this one! The colour is Champagne Gold with Olympic Gold roof. The interior will also be a mix of both these colours.
  9. Nice looking Spitfire. I built a lot of those when I was a kid, they were by Airfix. The local market had a model stall and sold tons of Airfix stuff.
  10. Yes, everyone has a brand that works for them. I've tried Krylon and can't get on with it. It's a good paint but it seems to be a very fussy paint that's picky about the environment you're working in. I use a lot of Hycote double acrylic and Halfords motor factors paints, they too work well with each other.
  11. Amazing looking Challenger. Beautiful!
  12. Really nice save. I like the wheels, they suit the Corvair nicely.
  13. What an amazing paintjob, I haven't seen anything like that! Awesome build too, those doors!
  14. Thanks guys. These were a lot of fun, it's given me a few ideas. Not necessarily car chases but diorama scenes from movies. I'd like to give it a try.
  15. They look great, I love the little surfboards.
  16. Beautiful, real nice paintjob.
  17. Gorgeous build, love the colour on it, and that diorama makes the whole thing look very realistic, Very nice indeed.
  18. These look awesome! I love the details like the trafficators and little twist handles on the boot. The folding sun roof looks really good.
  19. I had an RC model of this in the Martini livery in the 80's. No idea what manufacturer it was by but I loved that thing. This reminds me so much of that. Very nice build, I like it a lot.
  20. Nice build. Those wheels really suit it.
  21. Lovely looking builds there, very nice work on both.
  22. What an outstanding build! Flipping heck, that's one gorgeous looking custom.
  23. Looks awesome!
  24. Very nice colour, neat looking build.
  25. Man, that's looking real nice! The roof works extremely well with it, I like that.
