  1. Love the deep shine on that red paint. Very nice clean build there.
  2. Cool looking build and what a stunning looking colour, I really like that.
  3. What a super cool looking build! You nailed the early 60's custom look, could even pass for a manufacturers concept car you see on the turntable at a 50's Motorama. Sweet!
  4. Very nice builds. I love the Pontiac, the colours are perfect.
  5. Beautiful looking build, the bank robbers choice of transport back in 60's UK! I love the colour, looks like the car in an old TV show over here called "Inspector Morse"
  6. Looks to have survived well, very nice. I love these mid to late 60's Pontiacs, probably my favourite car from that time.
  7. Very nice colour on a stunning looking build. I built one not long ago and it's a great looking car for the shelf. Nice work, I like the white interior too.
  8. Very nice work. I'm liking this.
  9. The Mustang is a rolling chassis now, and I got the paint done on the Charger and making a start on the interior. I did a sneaky test fit of the Mustang body, and man, it looks really good! Can't wait to show you all some pics of it when it's completed! I ended up using the wheels that come with the Mustang kit as they are identical to the ones I had in my spares tin and these obviously fit the axles better. Before I bought the kit I bought a few parts to specifically make a "Bullitt" Mustang, but this kit has everything needed to build one already. I found it odd that the Mustang kit has the old axle through engine design, It's fine on this though as the suspension arms hide it. I thought axle through engine was a 60's thing, but this kit looks fairly new.
  10. The Charger is coming along nicely now. I've done the vinyl roof and is now ready for body paint. Chassis is basically done and the interior is in progress, and the Mustang is nearly finished. I was held up on paint for a while because the Highland green over here is not the Highland green used in the States, it's completely different, so I used an aerosol called Apollo Green which looks close enough.
  11. Flying along with the Mustang now. I got the interior done and most of the engine completed. I picked up some Highland Green but turns out the British version of Highland Green is completely different to the American Highland Green! I tried Pacific Green and British Racing Green and as you can see in the pictures neither are anywhere near what the movie car looks like, they are way too dark. I'm a bit stuck on this build now. It seems to be a very specific shade of green that's not easy to come by over here. I'll make a start on the Charger, and hopefully in the meantime I'll find the right colour for the Mustang.
  12. haha, yeah, Ace Ventura is working for Hermes I think! I got a refund so it's not all bad. I can't see any tyre tracks on it but certainly looks like it was driven over.
  13. I guess this one could be used for the petrol station scene where it blew up, Lol! ?
  14. I don't know what it is, they just seem to be getting worse all the time. It's all good my friend, thanks for the offer but another one is on it's way:) It should survive this time as it's from a seller I've bought from before and haven't had a problem yet. The one that died was a bid I put in and won, it was only £2 cheaper so didn't exactly lose out on a bargain.
  15. Well this sucks. My '68 Charger turned up in the post today and before he even handed it to me I knew straight away from seeing the damage to the box that it was over! The thing was crushed flat, like someone drove over it and then jumped on it to make sure that whatever was inside was dead! The box was very strong and the seller even lined it with some extra cardboard, yet someone, somehow still managed to find a way to destroy it. I can believe it though as I've worked with people in my time who are just an absolute walking disaster! You know the type, the ones that make you question how the f88k they're still alive! I've had a refund from the seller, he said not to bother sending it back. Two people are having a bad day now because someone didn't give a tosh! At least I have a ton of Charger spares now I guess.... got to find a positive side in this I suppose.?
  16. That's one seriously cool looking Mustang, I really like this. Very nice job.
  17. wow, now that's nice!
  18. Those wheels look great on this. I can hear it burbling as it slowly cruses through the show entrance! Nice build, man. I like it.
  19. Very nice and I love the colour. I love this kit, one of Revells best.
  20. Love these huge boats of the 70's. Very nice builds you got there and loving the colours.
  21. Cool looking build. I like the retro graphics on the side, and those banded wheels with seriously stretched tyres! You nailed this one, very nice.
  22. Both very nice builds. I love the Superbee, these are such attractive looking cars.
  23. Lovely detail and very clean. I like the deep blue and it's very smooth looking.
