  1. Nice colour scheme and lovely looking Interior. Very nice build.
  2. haha, that's sweet, I'm glad he got a kick out of that.
  3. Nice work on this, especially the interior. The engine bay is looking very nice too and I like that you picked out the detail in the wheels. Looks great.
  4. Thanks mate. Yeah, it went straight in, though I had to push the engine forward a bit cos the engine mounts were visible from underneath and looked like they were just floating there. As it is, the rad fan rests on the front cross member and I had to fill in a gap between the exhaust and downpipe. I wish I built lower control arms as they would have hidden the engine mounts and the engine would have been a perfect fit, it was almost made for this chassis!
  5. Thanks, Hector. Yes, surprisingly I really enjoyed this one. I'm tempted to get another one knowing how to go about fixing it now as they can look really good if sorted out properly. Thanks, Craig. Yeah, it's a shame how bad the kit is out of the box, it could be made into a nice looking kit if they fix the problems it has, surprisingly there's not that many. Front/rear bumper fitment and the engine bay are really all that needs fixing.
  6. Nice, I like these.
  7. Stunning collection and they're all so very well detailed. I really like the tow truck.
  8. That's looking really good, awesome detail on the front nose clip and I love the colour. Very very nice.
  9. Thanks guys. This really is one of those "bad kits" and not just an old AMT with an ill fitting grill and headlights. I actually hope Round2 take another look at the mould and just do some basic corrections on it. The detail isn't any worse than any other MPC or AMT from the 60's, it's just the horrendous fit issues that ruin it. It's a bit of a shame really as it's a pretty decent representation of '69 Charger.
  10. Stunning! I really like the decals in this kit. Fantastic looking build, and looks awesome pulling that trailer. Very nice.
  11. That's good to know, it wouldn't look the same with a flower on the roof! Thanks, Ron. Granny always regretted not getting the R/T, haha Thanks, Lee. Lots of polishing! Lol
  12. Thanks guys, really enjoyable build this one.
  13. Thanks, Dan. Thanks, Kerry. I'm still waiting for this darn decal solvent to arrive in the post so I can finally lacquer it.
  14. What an amazing looking set. Stunning work, and I love the colours. Very nicely done.
  15. Thanks, Hans. Yeah, the engine bay isn't great, the engine is the wrong colour too. Thanks, Walter. It was interesting reading up on the changes done to this kit over the years. They still got it wrong when they updated the rear window on this kit, it's too small and square compared to the real car.
  16. Thanks, Snake. Yep, who says you can't polish a turd, hu. haha! haha! and just like the real thing, there is a lot of bondo under that $29:95 paint job! Thanks, Tom. It's from the Lindberg '64 Belvedere, it's a very nicely detailed engine.
  17. Absolutely fantastic work! I enjoyed following this in WIP and couldn't wait to see it completed. Loving the car and trailer too, what a great looking set!
  18. Very nice work so far, and welcome back. Only last year I got back into model making, I hadn't built anything since the early 90's.
  19. That's a sweet looking cab. Going to be great looking build.
  20. I think the Dukes version has the Charger 500 body, though it's been changed so many times it could be a number of variants. Some even have HEMI on the door panels.
  21. Thanks, Dan. I do wonder if someone who picks up a kit like this one for the first time could be put off by the hobby thinking they're all like this.
  22. Thanks, Philippe.
