  1. Yeah, they went to town on customising it. It's pretty cool looking to be honest but not my style.
  2. It's looking great already. I love these 70's Nova's.
  3. I've been meaning to build this kit for a while now but I keep getting lured away by other more attractive looking kits. I was going to start on the '57 Del Rio Wagon but this poor thing has been pushed back in the queue too many times so I finally decided to get it done. The car has a T bar style roof that you can cut out but I've decided to sand out the trim lines and go the hardtop rout. Colour will be white with maroon lower waist line and maroon interior, and I might change the wheels and use some custom '64 Impala hubcaps.
  4. Beautiful looking truck. Interior looks stunning and I like the dirtied up tailgate area. Very nice.
  5. Love it. It looks amazing! I like that you added the Guitar/ukulele on the trailer, haha. Very nice.
  6. Stunning, especially the car transporter. Very nice build, I like those colours.
  7. Cheers, mate. I'm thinking of getting another of those trailers for my Kenworth as I gave this one to my dad. Thanks, Vince. I wasn't sure on the mustard yellow at first, having a red frame and all, but surprisingly it turned out to be not a bad combo.
  8. Coming together nicely, I like the engine detail.
  9. Nice detailing for a such a small scale, very nice work.
  10. Love the colour combo, I really like the underside. very nicely built.
  11. Thanks, Charlie.
  12. Probably, ..he's the only one in there!?
  13. ok, she's done! I actually finished it two days ago but I've been waiting for a dry day to take some pics outside but there's no chance of that happening anytime soon, the rain just wont let up. When we get a dry day I'll take some proper photos outside, but for now, here's two I took in my kitchen. Sorry about the lighting but the weather is so bad here even in the day it looks like they were taken at night.
  14. Thanks, guys. Yep, Diesel is a pampered pooch alright, being allowed on the bed and all! haha. Thanks for the colour suggestion, Jeff. I was leaning toward dark blue but I'm much happier with the brown and beige. Cheers.
  15. I wonder if the kit will include a six cylinder, or will we be building Yellow cabs fitted with a boss 429 engine?! Lol
  16. Thanks, Tom. It's a bit basic underneath and the interior isn't correct for a '79 but yeah, it does build up into a lovely looking piece. No fit issues and is very well detailed.
  17. Spectacular looking build, I love it. Pure luxury these old Cadillacs.
  18. Looks amazing, especially outside by the waterfront, very nice!
  19. Cool. I've built this kit, stock spec. It's a really nice kit, looking forward to seeing it progress.
  20. Finished painting the cab this morning, also, the ancient decals went on perfectly! Just clearcoat left to do now, some minor detailing and fit the trim. I decided to cut up some cloth for the bed blanket as I wasn't happy with how the paint looked. I kept the dog as I've given him a name now "Diesel" Lol
  21. I know, right?! Dangerous territory for builders with no shelf space! xD Too late now, I'm addicted to building these things. This is my second build and I have two more cabovers in the pipeline! Regarding the decals, I just finished fitting them and they laid down just fine, I'll post some pictures soon:)
  22. Yeah, it's loads of fun, I'm really enjoying the big rig builds. Compared to the cars it's not a whole lot different, just more parts and test fitting really, dare I say, a little bit easier! Probably because they're bigger and the chassis is basically all one colour, or it could be I've just been lucky with the two I've built so far! You're right about this AMT kit, it's extremely well designed. Strangely, nearly all the newer Kenworth K100's and Aerodyne kits I've seen built on YouTube look rubbish with horrendous fit issues and awful looking tyres. If Round2 are wondering what kit to re-issue next that's worth blowing the cobwebs off they would do extremely well to re-issue this one.
  23. I never thought about that! I'll call him "Diesel" haha,
  24. Interior is done. The CB radio and fire extinguisher are from my parts tin. The bed isn't great but I've never been any good at free handing symmetrical patterns so it is what it is. I put a companion doggo in there to try and cover some of my awful painting, Lol. Anyway, only the cab left to do now and I can call this one done.
  25. Very well done. Extremely nice build! МОЛОДЕЦ I hope that actually says "well done" haha.
