what the hell happened???

Looks like the clear cured either faster or a slower rate than the colour. If it was a chemical reaction it would be everywhere. -

Man, that looks good. Very clean build, I really like the colours especially the matt look on the frame. -
How did I miss this thread? Yes yes yes, and yes!! Man, I been looking for one of these for a while but they either don't exist for sale or are really expensive! oh I'm super excited about this one! New tooling and improved parts from a kit that hasn't been seen in decades, more of this please! I cant wait until this is available in the UK.

Kits Which Were Once This, Then Became That

I don't know much on this subject but I know the original Dodge Tradesman became the Bad Company van with a heavily updated front end and other alterations. I'm gutted as I want to build the Magic Bus that WLS Radio used for various promotions. -
Box Art Puzzles from Round2

My grandfather used to do that. He was in to planes and even built them out of wood. He would glue the jigsaws when finished and frame them. A lot of the jigsaws would have a couple of pieces in the wrong place and I'd wind him up by pointing them out, it was hilarious as he was quite the character! I really miss him. -

Fantastic looking work so far. -
Yes, a pretty rare option though. I do like me some wood grain panelling but on 60's and 70's American station wagons.

Ha, yes, I seen those Cup Noodle builds and although pretty darn cool and unusual I did think "why?" Lol. If someone thought Cup Noodle kits and trumpets will sell, which they seem to be, there's definitely hope for pretty much every kit suggested here. Fingers crossed for at least one or two in this thread!

Box Art Puzzles from Round2

It's a great idea... wait, maybe not, there's so many AMT box art pictures I like I worry I'll buy as many puzzles as I have kits, probably more so! Lol -
Thanks, Doug. I have heard the Revell kit has lots of flash, not something that bothers me but from some of the builds I've seen they have some really bad pin ejector marks on the frame that interfere with the cross beams. Thanks, Angel. I cut it at the cross beam, the one in-between the fuel tanks and mud guards. My WIP thread will show how it was done.

Very nice pair of Fords. Will have to pick one of these up!

I love the underside detail, and the engine bay is superbly done, very nice. Interior looks very clean too. Nice!

wow, that looks crazy good! Amazing detail on these 1/16 kits, and a very clean job too. Paint is flawless, and with that red interior, mmm, love it!

I've built the early release. Apart from the very curved windscreen panel it was a great kit. I didn't even know about it until someone mentioned it. One other issue with the early kit is the front grill, the trim just bellow the hood where the turn signals are is just a plain blank piece of chrome, you can see it in the pic bellow. I thought there was a piece missing but no, that's how it was moulded! lol

Still looks good, I like the interior and engine bay detail.

I like the missing section of the rear spoiler, the rest isn't far behind looking at that rust along the trunk! Great looking beater.
