  1. Opening doors, and plumbing. Nice work!
  2. I shall certainly do my best. It's the same as a car build I'd imagine, just tons more parts and tons more test fitting. I can already hear the seasoned big rig builders spitting out their coffee, "same as building a car?!, you have no idea, mate!" xD
  3. Looks good. Nice colour for that era of car.
  4. Very classy, looks like a real car too! You definitely captured the executive look.
  5. Very nice. Some impressive weathering on the truck there.
  6. wow, it's gleaming clean, I really like that. Spectacular job for a 24hr build! I'd have fingerprints and paint everywhere if I tried that, Lol.
  7. Is it an actual pedal car? I have one like that rusting away in my back garden, been meaning to restore it for years.
  8. Cheers, Stephen. None available in the UK:( There is a couple of the AMT Great Dane extendable flatbeds and Coca Cola Fruehauf trailers, but yeah, shelf space! haha, Thanks, Sam.
  9. I've seen a few really nice builds of this, so I picked one up before they disappear. They do seem to be showing up for sale less and less.
  10. oh yes! I see now you're building six cars! I need to read the comments as well as just looking at the pictures, Lol. Hay, I take my hat off to you doing six at a time, flipping heck! What's the theme? is it a dealership diorama, car transporter or just felt like torturing yourself?? xD
  11. Nice work, man. I'm liking this!
  12. Yep, I took my stabilizers off and I'm ready to ride, haha. The colour will be white with blue stripes and blue frame. I'm hoping the 34 year old decals don't disintegrate when I use them, but if they do I'll just paint my own by hand. I did a search for that ERTL Reefer, ..boy, is it expensive! I might buy the AMT Semi Trailer again, that was a fun build and looks great, and it's affordable!
  13. I'm jumping in to the deep end with this one! A 34 year old kit, far more complicated than my last build which was the Peterbilt Conventional by Revell, basically a snap kit, it was also the first and only big rig I've built! so yeah, this is going to be a bit of an adventure!
  14. Very nice. I like the red rims, and the pinstriping looks great. Bumpers fit surprisingly well!
  15. That looks good, I like the colour. Has the 1-1 survived?
  16. ok, great stuff. I've chosen my entry, a Kenworth Aerodyne cabover. The date on the instruction booklet says 1987, so the poor thing has been packed in the box for 34 years! Anyway, really looking forward to building this, it's my first proper big rig kit. My first was basically a snap kit Peterbilt, so wish me luck!
  17. Yeah, I didn't look twice at these cars when I was younger, they were everywhere! My dad went through two of them in a row in the 80's. If a complete kit turns up I might just take the hit to my wallet and knock a few resin copies out.
  18. Beautiful builds there! I really like the Del Rio wagon but that '71 Super Bee has to be my favourite.
  19. That looks really good. It even looks like it has history, like it has a story to tell.
  20. Good job on opening the doors and trunk. It's going to look sweet, cant wait to see the end result.
  21. Are they hard to find over there? Lots on ebay UK, it's usually the other way around. I think I'll get one now before they disappear!
