  1. Yes, she is lovely, I love her more than everything. She turned eight i august.
  2. Smulan or The Crumb in english.
  3. Everything from a few minutes to hours in pursuit of what I'm really chasing, nirvana, flow when I forget time and space. Sometimes I reach this state and it is always just as wonderful. This summer, my wife saw how I got there when I was sitting in our little former guest cabin at the summer house and she really spoils me for these moments Good strategy and planning for construction evenings when my wife has some commitment makes room for this
  4. Yes, I have preferences. I'm an AMT fanboy and I like metal axles, the kit must be old or rather preferably so old that it is Made in the USA. I studied the year the kit is made lika a wine connoisseur. Actually, it's probably a pressure because I would prefer to build Jo-han, but supply and cost make it impossible. I stick strictly to 1/25 scale, by the way and one of the few issues I've managed to be at least almost consistent throughout my life.. So, AMT made in USA 1/25 with the wheels in the right place kit bash fun parts.
  5. Unbelievable, my nearest styrene dealer(Stockholm) got it a fortnight ago. It must be a historic moment. Usually we read about what you can buy i the shop years before we do.
  6. YES ! Smells are something that can evoke memories more than other sensory impressions.
  7. The name Fabrikör an older Swedish professional title for a person who owns, manages or operates a factory. ?
  8. I work from time to time with this one, which is meant to be general because I only have room for one car in the cabinet. The fact that the car is on a black or at least dark gray surface makes the model look more like a car and not a model.
  9. Fun projekt, the seat in the other direction looks good as a matter of course.
  10. My experience is that people appreciate the neutral Porsche colors over time. After 15 years, I see my bluegrey and all Porsches as a bus (or plane) ticket. You pay and it delivers. Sometimes you see another one that has the same color, but rarely (at least in Sweden) does it have the same color and rims. Few have succeeded well in choosing the color of the paint and interior themselves. The GTO is nice but choosing the color yourself is a roll of the dice.
  11. Monogram Badman. It sparked a passion for gassers in many. Look at the South East Gassers, now 50 years later there is still passion.
  12. I would be thrilled if Round 2 released a Parts Pack with the duali wheels from the 1990's promos. There are so many pickups in the Round 2's lineup that could use a bit more weight. Yes, I have sent them an email about this.
  13. Thanks, I have to investigate if they send packages to Sweden. That's one reason why I prefer kit bash, AMTs 3 in 1 and 3D-printing.
  14. I am grateful for Round 2's both volume and spread. I have been in and out of the hobby all my life (now and going forward it will be in). In the 1990s I was in for a while and the shop had very few kits that I wanted to build. My luck then was that it was possible to buy up some old kits from friends who focused on their 1:1 cars, but today thirty years later we would be without both complete kits and parts. I prefer to kit bash before resin and there I think Round 2 does a great job of releasing AMT's old 3 in 1 kits that are full of fun stuff and above all sensible stuff. Now there is an alternative to kits that have been semi-ambitiously updated with billet parts and big rims and I am grateful for that. Can we get some kits with inline 6's, 4 doors and small hubcaps I wouldn't sleep but that customer group is probably too small. If Round 2 also released the Dualli wheels from the 90s promos, life would be at its peak.
  15. Fantastic build, which kit or which resin caster do the wheels come from ?
  16. I’m just an ordinary builder who struggles with, among other things, old AMT kits, but this is how I do it to be able to paint deep rims. Flat colors are easier, thin the paint and paint a few thin coats with a brush and clear coat last. Mount the rim on a tothpick and rotate the rim against the brush. If you must use an airbrush, pant the rim in steps, roll an piece of paper lika a tube 2 mm smaler than the rim and spray, the tube may not touch the rim, a day later: cut a paper disk 2 mm smaler than the rim, put it om the center and spray, last spray the rim edge. I some times paint the wheel bolts after the first layer by hand brush and then paint the rim colour around the bolts if it is an old not so sharp kit. So, I hope that Google translator dis the job..
  17. Yes He has written a lot of werry nice articles in Finish magazines some tventy five years ago, even today those would be state of art.
  18. I’ve written to Juha to encourage him to write a book but his answer was no. Maybe it helps if more people writes, maybe it’s not only Santa Clause who lives in Finland.
