  1. Looks SO right! Really nice build.
  2. I was going to say the red interior looks good but the tan/brown, to my mind, gives the hot rod a classy upscale look. Your tenacity with this one is impressive and producing a great result.
  3. Nice color combo; off to a good start!
  4. Immaculate! Impressive alclad work.
  5. Love the look of a track nose on a hot rod. Very interesting project. Enjoying all the Offy info and looking forward to seeing where this project goes.
  6. Nice looking build ! Greetings from just over the state line in Delaware and welcome to the forums.
  7. Going Full Custom! I’ll be watching this one and hoping to learn a thing or two regarding bodywork; an area of little experience and even less skill for me?.
  8. Wow! (expletives deleted) As a Navy veteran I know a few swear words that I may have to use if the result produces a model impressive as this one. You have built a very cool piece of art, an automotive sculpture.
  9. Another excellent build from the Bronzekeg bench. A clean, mean, but pretty machine!?.
  10. I don’t recall ever seeing a ‘29 Ford roadster with the top up; gives your great looking hot rod some real character. Good looking paint and a really nice interior all make this one stand out. Very nice build!
  11. Your perseverance in finishing this one is impressive and the resulting model looks great. The color is out of the ordinary and gives the model some real character. Of course that beautifully detailed flatty doesn’t hurt either!
  12. Great looking roadster! The interior looks perfect with that eye popping blue paint job. I like the way you carried the blue theme into the engine detailing. Might I suggest you build a few more in this style even though you’re a muscle car kind of guy??
  13. Really nice! Love the color and the stripes. Great choice of wheels.
  14. When pinning parts what do you do to get proper alignment between the pin in the part and the hole? How do you ensure that the location of the pin in the part is correct so the part is in the correct location when inserted in the locating hole?
  15. Digging the Bad News! What kit is this?
  16. That's a hot rod that looks like it would have been cruising Main Street back in the day. Well done!
  17. Your conversion to a stock truck really looks the part. Well done.
  18. I'll be interested to see what you do with the conversion to a stock truck!
  19. Thanks everybody for the nice comments. I am pleased that many of you commented on the yellow color. As with all my paint jobs it was a bit of a journey, not always pleasant.? In the end I'm quite happy with the way the paint looks on this vehicle. Don't recall exactly who's build it was in this forum that had blacked out a lot of the chrome but I drew inspiration from the fine work that goes on display here. With the engine bay having so little detail I went the minimalist route with the engine detailing; and yeah, maybe I got a little lazy.
  20. The Revell '29 Model A roadster with a few after market and spare parts to put in drag racer mode. Paint is MCW finishes Black Cherry Gloss Laquer. Inspiration came from a photo of an early '70's altered. I should probably dress up the interior with a decent shoulder harness . Looking at the photo the parachute retaining strap probably ought to be secured to the center of the frame cross member. A push bar was on the 'to do' list which would require moving the 'chute too; maybe next time. Thanks for looking, any and all feedback is appreciated. Andrew
  21. Thanks Bob, I appreciate your comments!
  22. That is one wild machine! Very cool build beautifully executed.
  23. A box stock build of the Foose '56 Ford FD100. Looking back at my notes I was surprised that the body required so much prep work. Parting lines, flash, and mold lines everywhere. Painted with decanted Model Master Chrysler GL Yellow through a Paasche airbrush. Frame is painted Tamiya Metallic Grey XG-56.
  24. Beautiful paint, both the color and the application. Very convincing engine. I’ll be watching this one!
  25. Very nicely done! I built this one and ha ve another in the ‘stash’. My chassis was not warped but I haven’t looked at the second one. I will say this is the best AMT kit that I have built.
