  1. Spectacular!
  2. I annotate instruction sheets and keep a rough log of progress during a build. Writing things down helps me remember what techniques work well during a build and noting my errors helps avoid them in the future.
  3. A number of people have suggested using a "NASCAR chassis"; any thoughts on a good kit to scavenge such a chassis from?
  4. I've been resisting buying this kit but your beautiful build may have put me over the edge! Now it's not a matter of wanting but needing. Awesome color!
  5. Rattlecan Dan's comment is exactly what I was thinking. Vicious but nice!
  6. Every build is full of lessons learned. I feel your pain but dig your build!
  7. What a badass hot rod. Love it!
  8. That's one cool hot rod! Great build.

  11. Thank you Larry, a fun one to build.
  12. I would venture to say that I like your "not period correct" paint even better than the original. Really nice looking clean build.
  13. Thanks Greg. I agree this is quite a nice kit, I might even consider building another in a different style.
  14. Thanks folks, I appreciate all the comments.
  15. Thanks David. I was happy with the look of the engine just a little bit of detailing brought it to life.
  16. Thanks Bob. My wife was pleased with the build so that's a plus.
  17. In some respects I think the Duvall windshield looks a little bit 'gimmicky ' but in the end I was satisfied with how it looks on this build as it is at least a little different from the more common squared off windshield . As you say, "a matter of preference" , and I do appreciate and enjoy your comments.
  18. Thanks for the comments fellows. It was a fun build.
