  1. The black interior is very convincing! I'll have to give this a try. Thanks for posting!
  2. True hot rodding where effort and ingenuity made up for the lack of big bucks. You nailed it, great job.
  3. Very nice! I don’t know how you manage to turn out such a great looking model in such a short time frame!
  4. Nicely done! I built this a few years back when I first started building models as an adult. In some respects it is a bit fussy and difficult but builds up to, in my opinion, a very nice looking model. Yours turned out much nicer than mine which currently languishes in the back lot awaiting repairs or perhaps transformation into a hot rod. I am seriously considering a second box stock build as well now that my construction skills have improved enough to hopefully do the subject justice.
  5. I have a body that I would like to polish prior to clear coat. It doesn't need sanding and I don't want to risk taking off high spots. I am considering using Tamiya polishing compound and wondering if it leaves a residue that would cause problems with then putting on Tamiya clear coat. The only useful info I have on the Tamiya polishing compound is that you can wash off excess compound with water. I'm thinking a good water bath after polishing and prior to clear coat, any thoughts or experience with doing this?
  6. Outstanding looking and remarkable engine detailing.
